I loved this place when I visited in November and bought a one-bedroom off the plan. The two bedroom showroom really stole my heart, but out of my budget. Great location and a lot of perks with the purchase. Looking forward to completion.

Why buy rather than rent? These depreciate fast and every few months there is a new and better condo just around the corner

I guess inflation hit the USD harder than I thought. That's like 150k USD for a 300sqft studio. That's getting close to mid-tier US city prices.
Only expats would live there since this is a premium location 200m from the beach and this is priced in well into their calculations. And don't forget the amenities like kids clubs and fitness rooms

I would like to say that Thailand's weather is quite hot. I think the weather is cooler in Chiang Mai due to mountainous region.
