About a week each! You can easily do vietnam in 2 weeks I would say :) I spent longer because I was working too.

I spent about a week in each place, but that's because I was working too. You could easily explore all these cities in a 2 week trip. I mostly walked while in the cities, flew between the cities, and used grab or taxis to get from airport to city centre.

What sites do you use to book your tours when traveling abroad? Is it smarter to book when you get there or before?
You can book before or while there -- Booking in advance is probably wiser incase any sell out! I used trip advisor to book and read all the reviews for different tours before booking the ones I wanted :)
