I appreciate the fact that he is always willing to show us viewers and potential renters the neighborhood area so we can get an idea of where we’re moving to and what it’s like to live there.
Just thought I'd say I'm from the mid-west and have no intention of moving east I just enjoy the tours and content. Look forward to the videos each morning. So, keep doin what you're doin, Cash!
Okay... that's not bad. Not bad at all! Once I saw Dominick I knew I would be safe. He's not Charles but he's definitely a solid number 2 in my book! For $3600/month that's good value with that unit and in that building. I see this as a roommate situ (2 or 3), a partnered couple situ, or even a small family situ.
But like Cash pointed out the common area is really small so you either have it set up as a living room or dining area. Kind of a pick your poison scenario. I think I'd use the front room as a dining room instead of a bedroom. That would be better in a roommate situation also since there's only 1 bathroom. It would have been more workable if there was also at least a powder room. Curious what you thought of the tiles in the kitchen & bathroom
Well the price isn't bad & the roof decks must be great in nice weather. Being right across from Fairway is a real bonus, not having to lug groceries far & is a great supermarket with fairly decent prices (they took over some of the fairway stores when that went out of business). This place gives off industrial vibes with the light fixtures & poured concrete ceilings. You better be a big fan of those tiles they used in the kitchen & bathroom tho. With only 1 bathroom it's probably better for a small family or couple imo.
Thanks to all the commenters who are local, it really adds to the ambience! The sense of what it would be like to live there. And people’s interesting memories of the different areas. ❤
That apartment is actually in Ridgewood, the border between Bushwick, Brooklyn and Ridgewood, Queens is on Wyckoff avenue south of Gates Ave. There's a really good Mexican place called El Patron about a block away btw!
I can see that coworking space being a big selling point for folks that only need to go to the actual office once or twice a week. Not needing a place for working within one's apartment would be a huge bonus.
Good job, Cash! You didn’t slam anything. 😉 As usual, I enjoyed the content. Living in Oklahoma, I am alway blown away by the cost. Here, $1200 monthly would get you a decent 3 bedroom house with a front and back yard. Stay safe my friend!

Actually genuinely liked this place! $1200 per roomie isn't a bad deal for what you're getting here with the amenities (so long as there aren't too many fees for them) and space is overall good (I think you could deal with the common area by using an L-couch maybe along the window and wall which would leave room for a small 3-person table maybe?), and hopefully once the leaking stops in that one room it's good to go. I actually dug the bathroom and kitchen and their wallpaper too. Ridgewood/Bushwick here doesn't seem to be too bad, and commutes into Manhattan probably would go alright--just wonder how annoying it'd be for me to get into parts like western Queens, lol. Overall, not a bad place from Dominick! (Also, would be nice to see some more affordable Queens spots as they come up!)

I swore I heard you call macarons, macaroons; big difference Cash 😂 You'd need to embrace the tiles in this place because they're a bit in your face. 1 bath, 3 roommates with thin walls that carry sound. Good situation for siblings or a couple with one room for work or child. But, 3 roommates in that space really is not workable given the walls have no insulation to buffer sound. I lived in one of these and you can hear "everything" your roommates are doing.
