Just some housekeeping stuff, I took some suggestions based on prior videos. Personally I prefer subs generally, but a lot of people made the good point that many may be listening to my videos rather than watching them, so I chose to use the dub to make it easier for everyone. Also I screwed up with a lot of pronunciation, and only realized it during the editing stage when it'd be a bit too late to go back. Sorry about that.
In the manga, and I think in the anime as well, floch shows up with 2 other friends a boy and a girl. He has his own mikasa, eren and armin dynamic and watches them all die. I think this is why he resents eren initially. Eren got what he wanted he won and his two friends are alive and floch lost everything. That’s the kind of shit that follows you
What strikes me the most is the fact that Floch has more meaningfull character development in mere 20+ chapters than Mikasa has in entire manga. And people somehow call him a "bad character".
@@DemonKing-oi4jd But is it really a 180? His point of view, obtained from a near-death experience, is carried with him until the end, and his growth as a leader proves that. Mikasa's development (living on without Eren after his "death"), on the other hand, is a thing in just one episode, and is then nullified when Eren turns up to be alive. Everything after that is "Ereh" and "Ereh" for 100+ chapters and even in the epilogue in a certain way. Really makes me sad, her character had so much promise, but ended up being nothing more than a convenient plot tool, a literal guard dog.
@@cheesingbond2411 Yes I believe his character just did a 180. What you said about him is correct. In the beginning he is a cowardly Jean and turns into a superficial Erwin. He lacks the character growth of both of the characters he imitates though because we only see his outer actions. Jean relates to him because he also wants to know what he is dying for and Erwin because of his ability to rally people. Compared to those two however, Floch does not have the character development of either. I said he has the same character development of Mikasa in episode 6 because Floch character arc is the same as Mikasa backstory. She went from a petrified and traumatized kid to the bad ass we see moving forward. Mikasa character development is more subtle because she is an introvert, but she has growth throughout the story. We never get any inner monologs of Floch, we don't see any internal struggles, or do we see any relevant backstory. You might not like Mikasa as a character, but she definitely has more character development than Floch. The only thing that I see that Floch surpasses Mikasa initially is that he drives the story a bit more than Mikasa, but that changes at the end.
@@DemonKing-oi4jd floch went from an over emotional coward in season 3 who was afraid of death to someone who didn’t fear in the face of death, who fought till the end of what he believed in.
I think they should’ve had ether Jean or Connie join the yeagerist. There’s no logical reason as to why they would beside some poor form of moral righteousness in a story in which it states there’s only surviving. Connie of all people should have been a Floch like character after what they did to his mother but instead of writing a nuanced character they just make him side with the “good guy”.

@@jihwankim4452 no, it's called bad writing. If we take effects of the rumbling into account Paradis should be dominant force not only locally but globally for good several centuries while the rest of the world tries to rebuild itself. Isayama REALLY dropped the ball on the ending, it's lack lustre and incredibly inconsistent.
They did talk their way into peace. Paradis existed peacefully for hundreds of years after the end of the comic. However, nothing is eternal. Humans will eventually begin fighting once again. We were never really invested in the fate of Paradis as an empire hundreds of years in the future, though - we were invested in the characters that we had grown to love, and at the very least we can rest assured that they lived peaceful lives.
Floch is the unsung hero without a doubt... Sorry but sacrificing your island to a bunch of foreign invaders who attacked you and want to kill you in the first place is not “heroic”... Armin and Hange are both idiots who admit they have absolutely “no idea” how to stop the world from coming and killing them. Yet they are willing to not only sacrifice the ONE plan Eren and Floch have... but actively kill their own people themselves. If Erwin were alive. If it had still gotten to this point. Erwin would be a restorationist without question. It was Eren and Floch who truly followed the code that made Erwin into a hero... not anyone else
Yeah, exactly. The panels of the dead Survey Corp saluting Levi was terrible. They all died for PARADIS, not MARLEY or THE WORLD OUTSIDE THE WALLS. Why would they be celebrating the death of their best chance at redemption? It's so disappointing...
@@bitcoinzoomer9994 i'm pretty sure with or without erwin things would've come down to the rumbling being eldia's only option considering the fact that the whole world was hell bent on destroying the eldian race once and for all with no room for negotiation or reconsideration considering the fact that every outsider has been spoon fed insane amounts of anti eldian propaganda since birth even the eldians outside of paradis have biases against paradis and think of them as devils worth less than the horse shit stuck under then shoes, and knowing how chaotic erwin was able to be especially during the end and how risky all his plans were since the start of the anime he would've most definitely sided with eren and since levi and hange dick ride erwin 24/7 they would've done the same
@@piss_blood3191 They were dead and were watching what was happening with an objective prospective, not like the characters who were still alive, whose actions were determined by their fear, hope, and other emotions, which is natural because they were still alive. And by an objective point of view, you can't really say that killing 99% of the world to save the remaining 1% is right. And it doesn't matter if they are people who you met. Because you know that even if they die you'll see them again. The concept of life changes at that point, so saving more lives instead of some you thought were more important, is just obvious. And consider that they all died before discovering the outside world, so they were all familiar to fighting for humanity and make sacrifaces to save it.
Finally, someone who called out Hange and Armin out and also knowing that Marley has no interest of talking like at all! Those two are just too naive! They should have known better! Befriending the Marleyan captives is one thing but trying to negotiate with the Marleyans on the mainland is a completely different matter! And while it is not necessarily mean Erwin have to be the one who Levi chosen to revive, what important here is that someone managed to come up with a plan similar to Emperor Heraclius once they are in contact with the Anti-Marleyan Volunteers, learned of the war between Marley and the Mid-East Allied Forces and have such a plan suggested to the government in order to legally go to war against Marley once it got approved, which I believed to be most likely the case because it is better than both the Rumbling and Zeke's plan. If you wanted to know what kind of plan it is, I called it the Heraclius Plan, named it after Emperor Heraclius himself.
Those on Paradis could've absolutely used the treatment of Mid-East Alliance refugees on Marley to their advantage. Hell, they could've offered those refugees asylum on Paradis to help broker relations with the Mid-East, and then hopefully come to some sort of military alliance with them to ultimately defeat Marley.
just like the US and the USSR had no interest in talking, or the US and China or Britain and France or Britain and Germany etc. etc. things change over time... Marley was widely hated, the Eldians would have had plenty of time to send Armin around convincing at least some nations that the Eldians genuinely wanted peace after a partial rumbling of Marley. Paradis would have time to catch up technology wise as well and once titans become obsolete then why would anybody even care about them anymore? After three generations such tragedies aren't at the forefront of the minds of people anymore. The US and Germany are friendly nations now. Sentencing the entire world to death just because it guarantees you victory instead of a mediocre chance at peace is completely psychotic. The faces of the rumbling titans say it all.
@@DeepsKnowsThe Mid East Alliance also hated the Eldians as much as Marley so Negotiations are futile. Also there is already an agreement that they will destroy Paradis in a courtroom even before Tybur's declaration of war.
My king Floch. Absolute goated character. He was the only person in aot whos points/statements could never be refuted . Anime original ending will make you and the jaegerists sacrifices worth it.
Yeah I never see why Armin is considered erwin's successor when he was never able to rally people like Erwin. Armin would come up with a plan, then Mikasa or Eren would really everyone to listen to Armin. Floch straight up didn't need no help, and after Eren told him his initial plan, floch was quick to make sure it went as planned so he is definitely strategic like Erwin and Armin as well, making him more like Erwin than armin is.
Because Armin kept his moral compass straight, Floch just didn‘t care about killing even millions and millions of people. Erwin would‘ve never ordered a friggin genoc*ide to happen.

Floch was the only one with his head screwed on, he was truly loyal to the people and is it any wonder they were happy with the rumbling and the yeagerists when Hange was doing the same crap the old government did? Hange was by far the character I hate the most of the alliance, weak, pathetic, willing to turn on her ideals in some aspects and betray her own people yet not willing to turn on others and be a bleeding heart sod both at the same time. A soldier is meant to dedicate themselves to their people, Erwin even if he didn't agree with the rumbling, would not have doomed Paradis to save a world that hates him and his people, it should have been him that was picked.
The thing is they witnessed innocent people dying because of Marley, who isn't included with war, what any more different would they be if they sided with Eren , killing kids and famillies after sharing a meal with them within those tents , like its just immoral
@@jakesunghoonstan2690 For one, they don't even need to fully *side* with Eren. As I had said, Erwin, even if he didn't like the idea of the rumbling and would have wanted to find another way, would have not tried to stop Eren because as with the raid on Liberio, his hand would be forced. Stopping the rumbling once it began would only doom the Island, recognizing that it's between his people and their people, he would have chosen to let it be completed. Erwin was willing to let innocents be crushed in Annie and Eren's fight so he was willing to do such things for the preservation of his people; the others should have done the same. Deaths of innocents, even children, is sadly what war is. How many were lost in Hiroshima, Nagasaki? And if they didn't surrender, if they kept fighting even after that, would it have been seen as some great evil if America made more nukes and dropped them until they did, or if they never surrendered, until no one was left? Would it be some great evil, or would it just be firing the last shot in a war of which they fired the first? It is certainly humanizing to have meals with your enemy, know who they are. Look at the Christmas truce of WW1. That was a moment of humanity's best, soldiers crossing the line to have brotherhood with one another, but at the end of the day, they had to go back to fighting for their nations. Granted, WW1 was utterly unnecessary and should not have happened, but that's its own case. Eren saw the humanity in others, ate food with them, and he wanted to see another way, this was shown during Tybur's speech, he hoped beyond hope that he could see another way, but when the cruel reality was cemented, he did his duty to his people. Even so, I have to question, the people they broke bread with seemed nice, but so did that one Marleyan who Grisha Dina and Zeak met that one morning, until he saw the arm band, and treated them like garbage. Eren and the others had no arm band, if they did, or if they knew they were Eldian, would they still smile and offer them drink, or would they have spat at them and told them to leave.
I can specifically understand why levi ended up choosing Armin over erwin. Imagine the survivors guilt Erwin would be racked with, he had to give and order to send 100+ young adults who had their whole life ahead of them to their deaths, and then to be essentially the only survivor. It would honestly be a fate worse than death for him.
It’s sad to see such a well developed and passionately dedicated character be disrespected so hard by his own creators the way he was handled towards the end, but loved his presence while we had him. Just like erwin he had a dedicated heart to the cause and refused to hide behind emotional platitudes and ideals instead of the cold hard truth, as such was willing to do anything for his people and nations survival
Man I wish plot armour wasn't a thing and floch hit his shot at the port. I mean it's kinda stupid that alliance would prefer the island getting destroyed and let people of paradis die in the future. I mean u can hate Floch for being an ass but the dude just trying to protect his people.

Lets ignore her slaughtering your entire squad and being involved in the murder of hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians, she ate a pie funny guys!! How wholesome!!! But floch…. Grrrrr floch. How dare he incentivize his peoples surival in a cruel unfair world that seeks to destroy and murder them all, with no possibility of peace no matter how much they wish for it. Our comrades wouldn’t want all their deaths to actually mean something, all of our fallen comrades want us too support the people directly responsible for all our misery and their deaths! Because that makes perfect sense! “Shinzo wo sasegeyo” they say as we attempt to doom our people to death. They would want everyone on paradis to die instead so maybe marley and the world could consider being nice to paradis and not brutally murdering and enslaving them. That is not true, Commander Smith wanted to identify and eliminate any and all additional threats to the island. After that he most likely would have become Premier and effectively the real leader and father of the nation. Eldia would have been in a far better position if he had survived.

I don’t care what emotional argument anyone has, saving Erwin is objectively the correct decision. Floch knew this better than anyone else with what little combat experience he had at the time. It doesn’t even matter if Erwin insisted not to get the injection.
I agree, I would have revived Commander Smith despite his orders, he would have gone on to be the best leader they're country would have ever had, The Eldians George Washington.
What I am suprised about is the fact that Connie hated Eren to death for INDIRECTLY causing the death of Sasha but didn't give a f about the fact that Marley/Zeke turned his entire family into a army of mindless titans. If he is really the type of person to start hating Eren for indirectly causing the death of sasha then in S3 after finding out what marley did to his family, shouldn't he have become the biggest Marley hater and one of the first Yeagerist? I personally think he missed the point of erwins speech. But it was because he contextualized it through war and death due to the immediate following circumstances. He had none of the saddness for the fallen that erwin, and some others, had. There was a nuanced complexity that he missed from Ewrins final words. You have to be living in order to remember those that died. Is living only comprised of making it to the next battle? Everyone in AOT had their own personal motivations that pushed the story in interesting directions. Its one of the reasons i love the story. Flochs motivations were one dimensional because of the context of his experiences. Its why hange told him he was probably right. Because hange could see complexities, she could see that from the singular point of view floch had. But Hange could see and consider more than floch. Its why Ewrin had her lead and not levi. I think its fair to say floch was right if war and conflict was, in fact, the only solution. Even then I don't get the sense he understood what that actually meant.

Either that or Isayama was just too scared to let the counter-genocide route a reality and thereby presenting it as morally just to some degree. And it is a goddamn shame, because AOT was such a nuanced and brilliant show. imo the bullshit ending of AOT is the single biggest cinematic disaster in history.
Floch was easily a favorite character in the series. Top three for me, he developed so much in such a small time. As well as being someone who is going against the grain and taking a stand for all those killed by Marley.
I think it’s notable that his first mission with the survey corps was one where victory was gained through the sacrifice of basically the whole survey corps. I think he learned that victory often requires massive sacrifices and that’s why he is so willing to turn on his former comrades.
They turned on him tho . The new military was as corrupt as the old and nothing changed . Eren was imprisoned for fighting the enemy which declared war on them and even took out the Warhammer titan
Ok, but why ? While Erwin did get better results as a commander than his predecessors, Armin blew them all out of the water by the time Erwin died... Just look at the losses and the different strategies they both chose to use and it becomes obvious that Armin was more efficient.
@@MessInMines Erwin can actually rally people, has much more experience, is willing to do whatever is needed to protect Paradis, is actually way goddamn smarter than Armin in terms of "real life" (like yea in a purely tactical standpoint Armin is better but Erwin can adapt better), and Paradis would've survived and not be destroyed post-Rumbling as Erwin wouldn't stop Eren unlike Armin.
Floch really started out as a "coward" as he calls himself. Then he died fighting to save Eldia's future against the main casts consisting of multiple titan shifters and ackermans. Floch truly had that dog in him 🔥🔥🔥
Floch Was a Character that I really Appreciate how it Develops and Supported Yeagerist I wish That they would Add More scenes Of Gangster Like style With Floch
Yeah.. I must admit, as biased as I am with Armin being one of my favorite characters of the franchise , Floch's logic wasn't wrong. Especially when you consider how his character just slowly went downhill after getting resurrected as the Colossal's successor. He may have been the show's brain ninja, but he wasn't the confident hype man that Erwin or Floch was.In hindsight, I wonder if letting him die over Erwin would've been more of a mercy instead of letting him live on as a shell of his former self. At most the only good thing about him still living is he got to see the ocean, and he got to pull a Krillin by snagging one of the hottest girls in the series in the end.
Um, the attack on Levellio ??? Armin made that plan and it was a bigger success than anything Erwin ever managed... They stole a titan, recovered Eren and Zeke, and wiped out the commanding structure of Marley in a single attack with minimal losses. Tell me when did Erwin top that exactly ?
Floch got that SS officer mindset Of course they're irrational about Armin. Don't act like you would care more about some other dudes survival when one of the only people that you care about in your life is going to die. Edit to clarify that that's the easy way and not the good way Marley are terrible, they are not a monolith, neither are the people on paradis. Floch is not a coward, that is not my point. He's a developed character but it doesn't mean he's something to aspire to.
I saw a video from a UA-cam with more views and subscribers than you that said you can’t cheer for Eren and his plan and the video was about how Gabby is the most important character. While I agree that it is a despicable plan it is one that would work. Watching this video just made root for Eren even more. Floch is the one that makes sense. The gang are just trying to hold the “moral high ground” and feel good about themselves. It really doesn’t make sense. Why would Armin and the gang kill their own people in an effort to save the people that are trying to destroy them in the first place and have taken an active role in killing them for at least a hundred years? Are they retards? I understand that the message is “revenge bad” “killing is wrong”, but c’mon man! It stings so much more knowing Floch was right and Armin and the gang were wrong. So goddamn wrong.
What about the millions or even billions of random people that have nothing to do with the governments or militaries though? What about a random baker and his kids who don't give a shit about their government's stupid, evil war? What about the Eldians living in internment zones? Does every single person outside of the walls really deserve to die? You put moral high ground in quotes, but how exactly don't they have the moral high ground? They're saving a lot of innocent people. I'm not trying to piss you off, I want you to know that I'm trying to reply in good faith because I don't understand your perspective and want to see if I can.

Absolutely agree with your take. The only thing is that there really isn't a message in AOT except "When bullied, lay down and die" as the war started by Marley and the rest of the world against the Eldians is an act of revenge in itself! And that *is* fully justified according to the alliance. This is what pisses me off so goddamn much. There is no message, there is no moral point. There is just pathetic weakness and it succeeds, somehow. (and btw I see millions of people simping for Hange, and I have to give you props for your view of her, i fully agree. Actually disgusting.)
So we’re not gonna talk about how floch kills other eldians for not believing in his morals and how he was involved in the zeke spinal fluid plan knowing it would turn his own people into titans?
I will put this comment I saw somewhere else. Hopefully ytb will not sh4dowb4n it. Floch is like the most misdiagnosed person on the fandom Floch isn't 'evil'. He has commited evil acts, which is a huge distinction because every main character has comitted atrocities. The issue (a frankly compelling thing) with Floch is, deep down he is terrified. The trauma he ensured as a soldier, especially when was the only survivor of a suicide mission is something no one can ever comprehend. He clearly has PTSD. He knows he is weak. He knows he is supposed to be cannon fodder. But he will never, ever, ever put himself in the position to be used as a tool (slave) or be dominated/subjugated by someone else ever again. Even if it means subjugating other people instead. He is a slave to his own trauma. His own fear and desperation for control of his own destiny. Thats why Floch is Eren's greatest champion because Eren plans on eliminating ALL external threats, thus giving Paradis a chance to be free. BTW, Floch has no love for the establishment and from his perspective, why should he? And he is not alone. Pixis, Zach, Shadis,, f*** em. Why? Because through propaganda, intimidation and domination they commanded 'children' to become cannon fodder to monsters and now they are telling us "do nothing" while the world plans our demise? Youre forcing me to die? Floch tells other soldiers to beat up Shadis because he doesn't want them ever to let someone subjugate them again. There are other reasons as well (because Floch is a complex mess) e.g. He probably hates Shadis for reasons I mentioned, His fear makes him dominate his comrades, etc. But make no mistake, Floch cares for his comrades immensely and he means what he says. The most painful thing for me to watch was to see 104 kill the Jeagerists on the docks and to see Floch's expression. Visibly hurt, because he is technically doing all of this for his comrades and what they're doing probably makes zero sense to him. "Why are you killing us, to kill Eren to save people who want to kill us as well?" Floch isn't a hypocrite in a sense that he feels like murdering the world would bring everlasting peace. I dont think Floch can ever find peace. He knows how the world works. Like Eren, Like Annie, Like Reiner, Like Zeke, he feels like he has to become a monster for the greater good of saving his people. And to find some sort of relief within his own mind. It's also why he would easily push to start another Eldian Empire, to ensure that they will never be subjugated and feel that despair/fear again. It isn't because he thinks that fighting will magically stop if they eliminate the world. Floch thinks like Eren and Erwin. "Fighting will end when there are two people or fewer". I honestly think Floch would create a version of Nilfgaard. A safe, progressive place, but with brutal rules if anyone messes up. So there's peace, but everyone sweats all the time lol. This post wasn't written to make you love Floch. It was designed to show that he is one of thr most layered individuals in the series and probably the 'most' human out of the main cast. He suffered greatly and his trauma manifested in a way that made him do deplorable things because he felt like that was the only.way to save himself and his people. And to make his nightmares go away. I love the guy, as a character. And I resonate with his fear. Edit: Apparently I have to write this disclaimer: This isn't a justification for his actions or a way for me to convince you he isn't an antagonist. The purpose of storytelling, was, is and will always be, empathy. It doesn't mean you agree with a person's actions. It means you understand how they made the decisions they made. Because almost 100% of the time, the situation that created the monster or angel that they became is somethinf remarkably human. The death of a loved one, the loss of a home, a broken heart, near death experience, etc. Which is something we all can relate too. Remember, Marley looks at Paradis as if they are all evil without any redeeming qualities and not worth being looked upon as human. But if we live our lives that way, we'll never evolve as a species because we will always view the 'others' as less than human and not worth understanding.
I agree with the video more than your comment. You made some really good points, but I noticed that after reading, it had more of an emotional impact rather than a logical one. Like Armin said "Floch is right ." Sometimes the truth is hard to handle. We should support Eren and the rumbling. Having Marley and the other nations around Paradis is like having a pet snake in your room roaming free .
Not really, it wasn't disclosed why the island was carpet bombed, the ending is ambiguous and might as well could be a reference to how war never changes.
@@Naz1Killeryeah and it’s also clearly shown that hundreds of years have passed so the cast we grew to love did live in some form of peace and some generations to come after that as well

Whilst I disagree with a few of his... "methods", I understand why he's so dead set on Paradis above all. He messed up with burning more Eldian homes in Liberio than actual Marleyans, and not trying to negotiate more with the Paradisian Military Brass (instead of giving them Spinal Fluid), but I agree that they should've taken him and Eren more seriously. Hange had no long-term plan to discount the Rumbling or Euthanization, and admits as much that she forced Eren to make the choice instead. Armin had a short term strategy and yet... had nothing else, despite being lauded as a genius all the time. Floch chooses Actions over Words, and while I believe there should always be a choice for either-or in various cases, I understand that to him, the survival of the Eldian race is all he wants. For himself, comerades, family, etc
Eren's friends betrayed him and their country...? Eren forgot why he started the rumbling....? Eren and his friends lost character development....? Why did'nt we go with Zeke's plan? That would've been better
To be fair, only a coward can be bravest in the face of a charge like Erwin's One can lay down their life carelessly, but only the coward who's afraid of danger can be seen as brave putting aside their fear and facing danger They were all cowards, that's why all of them were brave
@giygas9305 Even before s4, he willingly went through the charge and somehow carried 6'2 Erwin over the walls. He also argued with an angry Ackerman. Even tho he called himself a coward and fodder, he wasn't as much of a coward as he claimed
The poison made to force his people to obey or otherwise become man eating giant slaves to someone like Zeke. What do you think of Floch smiling at the prospect of using it?
Ryxan. In the video itself it's said that he commited war crimes. Come on, it's aot. Basically every character did something wrong, everyone killed a person.
The Alliance did what Marley and the rest of humanity outside the walls couldn't, the genocide and total destruction of Paradis island. Paradis got nuked by 20% of humanity proving Floch right! R.I.P. Eldia's strongest soldier.
If you ask me, the fact that the fascist and global genocider seem the most reasonable characters while the ones trying to stop them seem idiotic is a massive failure from the author's part. It's not my fault if hisayama failed to provide an alternative to the rumbling or to give armin an actual plan of action, it's obvious that if it was the case nobody would be on floch's side (I'd say eren's but apparently he is just r3tard3d and did the rumbling for no reason, what a great character lol) People that claim that floch's supporters are evil fail to see how bad the writing of the final season is Edit: by the way, apparently none of the characters of this story has any agency because they randomly extablished in the ending that everything is already decided, so floch actions are literally not his choice😂😂
I love Armin. Just as much as Eren, Armin was instrumental to getting the Eldians beyond the sea. Meanwhile, Erwin was concerned with getting into that basement. It was the basement and being right, and vindicating his father, than it was the truth that lie in the basement. That was Armin's gig. Having said that, tactically, Erwin was the superior commander who would've at least attempted to stop Eren when it was possible

What strikes me the most is the fact that Floch has more meaningfull character development in mere 20+ chapters than Mikasa has in entire manga. And people somehow call him a "bad character".
He really doesn't though. Flipping 180 is not good character development. Mikasa does that in episode 6.
@@cheesingbond2411
Yes I believe his character just did a 180.

And not only that hange and Armin were ok being euthanized like wtf

"The Rashomon effect undermines the very idea of a singular, objective truth."
Jean: "Floch..."
Hange: "...He's dead. Yes, Floch. You're right..."
Yelena: "His euthanization plan was the only way to solve the two-thousand-year-old Eldian problem. Zeke was defeated... But... He was right."
Hange: "Sure. I'll admit it."
Right as opposed to genociding the planet.
@9:14 the reason Armins sacrifice was without a doubt more valuable that those unnamed soldiers (even Erwin’s) is that it had tangible results… yes Levi ALMOST got the beast titan, but Eren ACTUALLY caught Bertholdt this soldiers may as well have NOT died and you would’ve gotten the same result.. no beast. Armin was faced with the fact that his plan might not work and had no idea there would be a chance for survival still did it and and it ended up working Armin just better
The beast Titan would of kept throwing rocks if they hadn't have given Levi that chance
Flock isn't evil, he is simply reasonable, perhaps not right, but no one is really right until the result show themselves

great video. Floch=Best AOT Character
Love that the thumbnail to "Floch was right" is him smiling at the reveal of the eldian-targeted poison he used.
Eren and Floch might be the most moral people left in the series.
Not Eren lol, after 139 he murdered 80% of the world... And apparently he doesn't know why and what is worse he didn't archive anything he only save like four of his friends and left paradise without any defense, no titans, and now with a justified hatred of the rest of the world
@@rodriguezjavier6726 yes, I agree. After having read and watched it all, gotta say Eren was a bitch - but everything he did up until purposefully getting himself killed and leaving the 20% was noble (except saving Armin). In reality, I think Isayama was going in the 'saving the Eldians'-direction until MAPPA or whoever told him that he wasn't allowed to because it would look pretty damn bad for the studio and because twitter would have AOT executed for its basedness, thereby forcing his hand in throwing all the motivations and plot developments of his main characters out the f***ing window and making Erens moral standpoint nonsensical.

Never have I felt more inspired by a fictional character
One of the best developments in the show and the man's the goat 🐐
I think it’s notable that his first mission with the survey corps was one where victory was gained through the sacrifice of basically the whole survey corps. I think he learned that victory often requires massive sacrifices and that’s why he is so willing to turn on his former comrades.
They turned on him tho . The new military was as corrupt as the old and nothing changed . Eren was imprisoned for fighting the enemy which declared war on them and even took out the Warhammer titan
My god you've been gone for so long! Happy to see you back ^^
I still think they should've revived Erwin over Armin
I think a lot of people have the same opinion, me included
Nahh Armin was the biggest mistake
King floch!
But ngl the words "griffith did nothing wrong" are not words i ever expected anyone to say 🤯🤢

When Erwin slapped that syringe away it really takes your breath away. Truly one of the best anime’s of all time
I side with Eren and Floch. The military was sitting around, waiting to die instead of planning for the attack against them.
Very nice video. Floch is finally recognized
I thought I was the only Floch Sympathizer.
That was a good video good to see you back
Floch-sama, I kneel...
"Erwin's successor wasn't Armin, it was Floch". Summed up perfectly!
What floch did wrong was to speak up without putting his plot armor on
Floch got that SS officer mindset
Of course they're irrational about Armin. Don't act like you would care more about some other dudes survival when one of the only people that you care about in your life is going to die.
Edit to clarify that that's the easy way and not the good way
Marley are terrible, they are not a monolith, neither are the people on paradis.

She is easily the worst character. Betraying her own morals, actively zealously killing her own people with little to no remorse while leading others to do the same, despite being THE FUCKING LEADER of these very. same. people. Actually disgusting.)
So we’re not gonna talk about how floch kills other eldians for not believing in his morals and how he was involved in the zeke spinal fluid plan knowing it would turn his own people into titans?

Yea Floch did nothing wrong its a fact and he was 100% right. That what every smart people said
I will put this comment I saw somewhere else. Hopefully ytb will not sh4dowb4n it.
Floch is like the most misdiagnosed person on the fandom
Floch isn't 'evil'.
"Why are you killing us, to kill Eren to save people who want to kill us as well?"
Floch isn't a hypocrite in a sense that he feels like murdering the world would bring everlasting peace.
Very well thought out and worded, thanks for taking the time to share that.
This would make Floch cry (happy tears).

I always thought it would've been really cool if jean was floch. Like if jean was the one you survived the suicide charge.

I think if you are calling Floch a coward, then you are calling all of them cowards.
To be fair, only a coward can be bravest in the face of a charge like Erwin's
One can lay down their life carelessly, but only the coward who's afraid of danger can be seen as brave putting aside their fear and facing danger
They were all cowards, that's why all of them were brave

If you ask me, the fact that the fascist and global genocider seem the most reasonable characters while the ones trying to stop them seem idiotic is a massive failure from the author's part. It's not my fault if hisayama failed to provide an alternative to the rumbling or to give armin an actual plan of action, it's obvious that if it was the case nobody would be on floch's side (I'd say eren's but apparently he is just r3tard3d and did the rumbling for no reason, what a great character lol)
People that claim that floch's supporters are evil fail to see how bad the writing of the final season is
