Huh? They really made crazy plans in season 1 to hook their parent’s up and overshot the finish line.

The way they explain how much Fig and Kristen are failing and I’m thinking of Riz trying to get them all in the same college. I’m like, “I’m not even sure some of them are finishing high school” 😅Real talk, I find it absolutely boggling that the kids are not compensated at all for their saving the world actions. Something adults should be doing, 6 teens have done three times with no rewards or scholarships or internships or nothing? I would expect colleges for adventurers would want experienced adventures who have saved the world.
Fig and Kristen are heading for one helluva reality check. Cassandra's going to end up dropping Kristen for slacking off in her duties as a prophet and Fig's going to discover just how fast music trends change in the industry and Fig and the Cig Fig's are going to be cast aside for the next big thing.

@@deathbykonami5487 Cassandra cannot drop Kristen as a prophet, cuz if she does, she'll die. She's dying now because Kristen is her only cleric and one of only two followers. They'll definitely both get wake up calls this year, but I think Kristen's will be because Cassandra is dying, not because she's leaving. I think Fig's will be less about staying popular as a rockstar and more about choosing between being a rockstar and an adventurer/student.

The thing that gets me about the Bad Kids not getting enough credit for their adventures is that the Seven got more credit for their place in the BK’s adventures than the actual Bad Kids did. In the museum episode, the Seven are remembered as equals in defeating Kalvaxus when he was literally just resurrected so they could kill him as a goof at the end of the adventure. Seeing the Bad Kids struggle for credit after saving the realm three times is hilarious.

The whole realization of "did i ever got around emailing the school about this very important thing that definitely affects my grades?" 5 hours before their first day of school destroyed me 😂 absolutely encapsulates the energy of being a teen trying to handle the increasing responsibilities of adulthood

The fact that they are - as jawbone said - literally at the height of achievement for their class by being a literal prophet of a deity and an actual successful rockstar with tours and shit and having saved the world multiple times yet still are failing school and may get expelled is wild. I feel like accomplishing either of those things should at least push them up a year if not allow them to get like a GED or something
Even in a land of high fantasy you cant escape standardized testing!
I imagine not every student has the chance to save the world every schoolyear so parties who do not do so are only judged on academics. If parties who DO save the world, do that, they pass the academic year automatically, but their academics still count towards credit, and are necessary. Fig didn’t go to a single bard class the entirety of freshman year but still saved the world, so she passed the year but her GPA probably nosedived.
LOVED learning where each Bad Kid is on the "Good Student" spectrum 😂

The best part is that the kids kinda have a point in saying Fig should be getting *some* credit for the audited classes. Two of the Bards' standout abilities are Jack of all Trades and Expertise - skills based on versatile use of skills. Going to more diverse classes would help her expand on the skills not traditionally taught by Bards, mostly Performance. And with College of Lore bard using spells outside of the Bard list, going to those classes to more understand those forms of magic could help.
Of course it doesn't mean Fig never going to her bard is a good idea. But it is something that should give her at least some leniency in terms of attendance.

School isn't for everyone. Why can't Fig and Kristen's story arc be that they drop out and find what they really want to do. They have saved the world thrice. Fig is a bonafide rockstar, not to mention the archdevil of a realm in hell. Why is she worrying about highschool and college? Kristen is a mess, but maybe she needs a year like Tracker got to be one with her God and get followers and make a name for Cassandra. Again, all this high school malarkey is just getting in the way of that. What are they going to learn in classes that they straight up didn't learn irl.
I am talking about these two characters, like they are actual people.
Well we don't know what their arcs are yet. Brennan basically told them that their characters can just dropout if they want. I guess in-game they'd probably struggle with not being around their friends and possibly going in separate directions, which would break Riz's heart (similar to The Seven). Out of game, they'd probably have issues with splitting the party, but they might be able to work around that.
Tbh Kristen ignores her God having a year off or leaving won’t get her motivated honestly she should just be a wizard she only cares about the spells not the god

There's no way a winning ticket to a cruise "fell into" Galear's pocket during a robbery. Either Galear's lying or somebody reverse pickpocketed him to get Hallariel Seacaster back out to sea.

Look, story reasons aside we all know why brennan kicked out gilear. Man was sick and tired of seeing this sad elf die over and over and over and over and over again.

This season has been so phenomenal in so many ways, easily top 5 is the Kristen/Cassandra, Fig/ throughline. Magnificent stuff.

With Fig, I do fund it a bit unfair that she’s not getting Bard credits since she’s an actual musician who goes on tour, but Kristen’s situation totally makes sense.
She may be a god’s prophet, but she’s also like one of two followers. The point of a prophet is to spread the word and gain their deity more followers, and in that regard Kristen is failing _hard._ Plus, since she never filled the paperwork that changed her deity on her transcript, the school still sees her deity as YES?!?, who is canonically dead because Kristen got bored and forgot to feed him worship.
Fig’s right, Kristen is in a _way_ worse position than she is.

Not really. If gods get stronger or weaker based on how many worshippers they have, then it makes sense that part of a cleric’s duty would be to spread the message of their respective god. It’s like Brennan said, Kristen is literally a prophet of a long-forgotten deity. That’s an easy A if she put any kind of effort into making that deity known.

Thats kinda the whole plot of sophomore year. I’ll explain it but watch it, seriously. Essentially Cassandra is the Goddess of mysteries and the night. The other Gods and Goddesses specifically the moon goddess played a trick on her by striking her name from memory. The joke being the Goddess of mystery should have their name be a mystery. With that they could never acquire new members and most of the followers separated. Theres also the element where a God is the belief of people. We see this with Yes! Who transformed to Yes? With Kristens belief changing, and with the Moon goddess who when Tracker a werewolf believes in them they are more feral and beastlike, representing their ties of the moon and the wild. But when the elves believe in them its more regal and refined, and with the hatred of the elves towards evangelists like tracker the moon goddess has disgust as well to their “wild side”. Back to the plot, with Cassandras name stricken, the following warped and became corrupt, leading to a corrupt god. When the bad kids fight them they are a giant lich like being of death. But now with Kristen as their evangelist they were transformed into a teenager.

A lot of the fan base feels that way ally said that this season Kristian learns to get it together so we’re hoping there are improvements
you’re obviously entitled to your opinion, i guess i just don’t understand why you feel the need to say this under a video where kristen is 50% of the people in the title and thus roughly 50% of the subject matter. not trying to be rude, i’m being 100% genuine here.
@@minininja8912yeah, hopefully. She has seemed really fake in most episodes where her and her relationships are the focus, and she’s such an ass to those close to her, like Tracker and Casandra. I know they made up, but her “Yeah, uh huh, for sure”s feel really disingenuous to me.
She’s got potential for sure, I like her inquisitiveness, and her connection to the rest of the party feel real, but she’s really selfish in regards to the NPCs
