Oh man, that drop into Paula's tempo got me so amped (12:00). The music, the mountain background, the workout buildup, her strength and speed as she heads out-all so cool!
I been visting Canada, BC for the past 7 years and I totally in love with BC, also Canadians are you polite and their hospitality is amazing! What a Gem! What a privileged life style!
BC is gorgeous, i highly recommend Banff, Jasper and David Thomson all amazing places located in my home province of Alberta!! Some of the most beautiful views you’ll ever see :)
Hey Eric, the drone footage/music @ 7:30 followed by the run/swim/mountain goat footage was super entertaining, much thanks! Awesome skills in putting these vids together.!!
The stuff you guys think is boring is actually quite fascinating to many of us. Love all the beautiful shots but the bear spray discussion was very interesting for someone from Texas.
That brings back good memories of Canmore! Thanks for sharing. The video production is high quality. I enjoyed the song selections. The drone shots were cool. I wouldn't want to run past the mountain goats, either!
One of my first triathlons had the swim in Two Jack Lake and the bike course was the Minnewanka Loop. This brings back all the memories! Also LOL'd at the bike clothing layers difference between Paula and her sister.
You're there, training, in such a beautiful place. I've wanted to go there for many years and now I'm in the "when" not if phase. Wonderful video. Mental training math challenging the mind, body, and day!
i like all of your videos (often a fantastic bit of my Sunday), but i particularly loved this one :) dunno if it was the stunning views or the music, but it was all awesome! i don't even do triathlon but i want one of those crew sweatshirts haha
Haha 02:55 "just use your imagination how our strokes looked". Lol! Man, Eric, It would be awesome to put out a completely black video, when life is superbusy and you don't have the time to film. We'd be happy to use our imagination, we know how dope your training looks! Keep up the good work! Thanks for taking us along!
Man, your making videos skills are freakin awesome. This was excellent, and Canada's landscape helps a lot. Great job Eric... and of course Paula too since she helped out on this one.. haha!
Another spectacular video Eric. Love the drone footage, mountains, lake swim footage - and of course great footage of bear spray logistics 🤣. Looking forward to seeing you guys in Edmonton!
Awesome video, music, scenery. You guys have the life. Enjoy it. Good luck in Edmonton. Any chance of coming the following weekend to do the Calgary 70.3?
That Triathlon Life: * Two top-tier professional triathletes ✔ * Great cinematography ✔ * Beautiful dog ✔ * Awesome camper van ✔ * Paula occasionally smiles during a video ❌
Good luck today! I’ll be watching from Toronto rooting you on! And go Eric tomorrow, and Nick whenever he races I’m not sure what day he is on. Good luck to you all! Also love the crew neck. Is Paula wearing her usual small? Or an extra small? I’d probably be more Eric’s size
On your shopify, you should be able to edit the theme to add a favicon. A favicon is the little icon that browsers show in the tab next to the page title. Not super important, but would help make the site look a tiny bit more polished and professional. Overall been loving the videos. Great work guys
ahhh... It's just regular bear spray sold in every sport store in the Rockies haha I'm not sure how to buy it in places without bears walking down the street 😂
The wahoo is SO much easier to set up and I've never had to reset it, get it warrantied, etc. I would say GPS reliability/accuracy is about the same. The garmins do have more widget features and stuff, but if you just want a running watch, I find that is all extra
Oh man, that drop into Paula's tempo got me so amped (12:00). The music, the mountain background, the workout buildup, her strength and speed as she heads out-all so cool!
💪 it got me pretty amped as I was editing too haha
Great drone video of the ‘gap’ on the spray!
I been visting Canada, BC for the past 7 years and I totally in love with BC, also Canadians are you polite and their hospitality is amazing! What a Gem! What a privileged life style!
This is actually in Alberta 😂
BC is gorgeous, i highly recommend Banff, Jasper and David Thomson all amazing places located in my home province of Alberta!! Some of the most beautiful views you’ll ever see :)

those goats would ran after you for sure.. at least if i was running
The stuff you guys think is boring is actually quite fascinating to many of us. Love all the beautiful shots but the bear spray discussion was very interesting for someone from Texas.
Its a requirement for running races and Xterra triathlons in Canmore, they make you show it at check in...
That brings back good memories of Canmore! Thanks for sharing. The video production is high quality. I enjoyed the song selections. The drone shots were cool. I wouldn't want to run past the mountain goats, either!
Fantastic!! Good luck in Edmonton!

Adrienne was a little cold, we were a little warm haha
Looks beautiful up in Canada!
OMG...the views of the scenery!!
Idk what it was specifically but I really enjoyed this one

These Canmore videos are the best.
Lol, I feel y’all. I had to talk myself into training this morning.
Good luck at the PTO race! Saw the podcast with Paula and her mother and the course layout. WOW!
You guys have a new fan!!! Awesome job!!
Oh good! Welcome!!
i like all of your videos (often a fantastic bit of my Sunday), but i particularly loved this one :) dunno if it was the stunning views or the music, but it was all awesome! i don't even do triathlon but i want one of those crew sweatshirts haha
That’s what we like to hear! Glad you liked the video and the pullover, but we’re always happy to know we’re getting outside the sport bubble a bit
Great video Eric. Your cinematography, editing, and music are so impressive. Keep up the great work. These are always fun and inspiring.

It’s hard to miss here! Everywhere you look is pretty mind blowing
God that drone footage makes everything so epic. Well done man.
Thank you sir 🙏
Another spectacular video Eric. Love the drone footage, mountains, lake swim footage - and of course great footage of bear spray logistics 🤣. Looking forward to seeing you guys in Edmonton!
Thanks! See you there 🤙
Great video as always
Great vlog as always!
That's an amazing video. You guys are so talented. I especially loved the drone shots as the van drove up the mountain. 🤯
Thanks 🙏 I’m super happy with how that turned out
Awesome video, music, scenery. You guys have the life. Enjoy it. Good luck in Edmonton. Any chance of coming the following weekend to do the Calgary 70.3?
nice music in the end ;)
Another good video, especially with the bear spray. haha. On another note what shoes is Paula wearing?
Eric, it’s a job buddy. Including early morning, sessions. No job is always easy or chill, at least the ones I have had. Best of luck man
yup. Clock in every single day including saturday, sunday, and holidays 👌

I feel like we had this at one point.. maybe a Shopify update got rid of it.. thanks for the tip!
I LOVE Paula's crewneck! I want thaaatt!!
Coming soon! ❤️
Amazing
How do you do the sky ahoy while driving?! Beautiful scenery!
I just love the tempo with the bear spray, lol.
Paula, which model of nike running shoes are you using in the video? Thanks!
Glad to see you two didn't end up on the Grizzly channel in an episode called "What I eat in a day."
What’s the water temperature? 🧊
Great video. Who was the swimming montage music?!?
Another great video, the Norwegian don’t have to carry bear spray 😜
True. They don’t know how easy they’ve got it
What sun glasses are you all wearing at the beginning of the video? Looks like you are both wearing the same style, just different color frames.
These are both 100% bike! They are the Hypercraft model. LOVE them
It’s funny seeing you guys wear jackets, while I’m melting in 110 degree heat index.
Our grandkids always want to know what grams does when she sees a black bear on her run…..grizzly’s are a whole new level:-)
"Is this National Geographic?!" 😆
Great video but you’re not allowed to fly drones in provincial parks.
Details on that bear spray you’re running with please? Getting into trail running and this would give me some peace of mind… at the 14 min mark
ahhh... It's just regular bear spray sold in every sport store in the Rockies haha I'm not sure how to buy it in places without bears walking down the street 😂
Paula, what do you think of the wahoo watch vs the Garmin Fenix?
The wahoo is SO much easier to set up and I've never had to reset it, get it warrantied, etc. I would say GPS reliability/accuracy is about the same. The garmins do have more widget features and stuff, but if you just want a running watch, I find that is all extra
Grizzly Open Water race next Saturday ?
We’ll probably be spectating that one. We’ve got our final Bike-run brick that morning
Classic bear spray! Do you guys ever worry about/carry protection for mountain lions at home in Bend while trail running or gravel biking?
No not really.. I haven’t personally met someone who does or who has a mountain lion story, but I’ve thought about it
Wouldn't it be good speed training workout to try and outrun a grizzle? hehhe. 😅
It would be the last speed training you ever did 😬 they’re fast
Canmore is so beautiful!! 🥰
What is that song at the end???
Way you move - Ben Wagner (belter)
what lake did you swim in?
Well ..... I saw a burly squirrel and couple of mean looking pigeons on my run!!
😂 be squirrel aware
If my run route includes the possibility of grizzly bear encounters, yeah no thank you
Hi there! In the Bow Valley there is a possibility of seeing grizzly bears whilst drinking coffee on your deck too! Lol
@@mjguay7563 if drinking my morning coffee includes the possibility of grizzly bear encounters, yeah no thank you lol
The pepper spray just makes him madder.
Nice
I have that scottt addict......i guess i could ride with you
😂
🐻 spray tempo’s…. should be worth 10 seconds-a- kilometer
Hat?!?!?
