I learned this dance at overnight camp when I was 9 in 1992. It took me a decade to find the song but I never found the correct dance back when I was looking two years ago. Decided to look again and you've posted this in that time! Thank you!! We used to dance outside the dining hall before lunch or dinner, and there could be a dozen or a hundred kids all doing this dance. I loved it so much!!
I learned this dance almost 60 years ago and have done it ever since with the kick with the left foot to start the fourth measure ending the turn to the right so that the kick is in the new direction. With so many other dances being done to this music on the internet, it's fun to see one essentially the same as what I learned.
