Very cool cool bro, I think I'm gonna get one today, been watching some vids and you guys got me pumped....it's not my normal style but I like it, will be fun for me and the kid like you mentioned...keep rolling👍👍
thank you. its hella fun to play with and even more fun if you at least upgrade the front servos to the reefs 300 alacritous for hopping action. but its costly though. if you havent already go check out Jevries' channel.
Me too. It actually would be a pretty good idea if you plan on customizing other gbody shells. I have an LS and a CL shell but lack the chassis for them.
The 64 was a blast can't wait 2 get my Hands on this one I use 2 drive one back in the days all candy paint gold leav hydraulic out 2 the mack .man I miss that ride. Hello from V&b speed a new rc community channel ✌ #Ca
Had to replace my steering servo, if you have the same hexfly hx-9g, it goes out really quick, i figured it is cheap and can't handle hopping and turning, replacement for what i used was a35bhl-h its a helicopter tail servo, works good soo far.... I have a sixty four
Yeah it’s a common thing with these servos. Luckily Redcat covered mines and replaced it and it’s been holding up so far. I just filed a warranty claim.
@@fishingwitwade8992 yeah i have to do that to all the servos. i noticed 1 side is higher than the other on locked-up. Redcat is sending me a replacement for my servo via warranty claim. Nice to see a company take care of their customers.
@@Felgood808 im having that issue now. Since i got it smelled like burnt plastic and slowly steering was working on and off and you can hear the servos having some electrical thing happening . I just emailed my claim ill be waiting on their response. Hopefully it gets taken care of under warranty because it a dream come true to own one.
@@DanielVargas-ul5ig sounds like the same symptoms I had. Just monitor your emails for their reply to your claim. They were very fast with the shipping and reply.
It sounds like what happened to mines after a day of playing with it. You’ll most likely need to replace the steering servo. Before you remove it, take a picture of it on the chassis first for reference. I learned the hard way 😂. You should file a claim with Redcat on their website like I did and explained what happened and Redcat will take it from there. Redcat took care of my Warranty Claim and sent me a new servo. When you get the new servo. Make sure to set the End Points to Zero before you turn it On. Once it’s set to Zero then turn on the Transmitter and go to your steering end point and adjust to your liking. Good luck
to be honest my steering servo conked out on the second day. Redcat took care of me though and they replaced it and shipped it fast. the rest has been good so far. my son and I are having a blast with it. to me, as long as the company takes care of their customers and communicate. i won't be too worried about reliability that much but just as long as it does not happen too often😉
hells yeah bro. i relocated the battery to the back to avoid the awkward rear 3wheel crap and so that the 3wheel motion is instant and right. the nimh battery is too big so i gotta research for a small lipo pack now.
bro can you use 11.1v lipo when the ESC is rated for 7.4v. common sense tells me no but i don't quite understand lipos that good and difference between 2s(7.4) and 3s(11.1)

I'm putting titanium plates on the rear of my body so when I scrape it can spark 😁😁😁
that's cool. send a link when/if you make a video of it. would love to see it in action.
is it like Jevries mod?
Let’s gettttt itttttt!!!!
try to monitor your steering servo. mines already fried the second day.

Mine won’t turn left or right after 10 minutes of use, any ideas? Only used twice straight out the box

Great vid! Keep it up my guy
thank you. i try my best with what capabilities i have.
Does it have an open rear differential or locked
It’s locked rear diff so 3 wheel motion on both sides is possible.
Are they reliable

definitely needs a smaller/lighter 2S lipo.

@@taintandledoucheinc I've never thought about upgrading my esc. makes sense for much better fine tuning and more likely to have lipo cut-off control.
