You could tell how much he was STRAINING on those screams. Now that he’s learned new technique it seems so much easier for him. ALOADM sounded great vocally.
Imo Trivium would be better off getting a completely fresh vocalist. Since after this tour their vocals live are incredibly weak, Matts voice for some reason changes every album they do, Corey is only half decent when he growls incredibly deep ("obliterate" on down from the sky for example) and Paolo has never been any good...
@Ben Hayes terrible take. Paolo has great backing vocals, Corey has great backing screams. Sure Matt doesn't scream like he used to but there would be no trivium today if he didn't stop screaming like he used to. Plus his screams now fit their music now. This is a old performance as well. It's also practically impossible to replace an entire band. I don't think I've ever heard or seen an opinion as worse as yours. Matt's voice has matured, gotten deeper, and his screams are more brutal than ever. His singing is also is amazing. Keep your opinion to yourself next time because honest to God, you have the worst opinion about Trivium, Matt, Corey, and Paolo I have ever seen. Hell maybe the worst opinion in general I've ever seen in general.😊
this is my favorite of their live performances, shogun was my favorite era but here they sound so fucking amazing live. I so wish this is how good they sounded live nowadays. fucking david draiman or whatever messed mat's vocals up, now he sounds like David
