@@ayngelina a bit pricey...but stay in Airbnb...think local.. some stuff supermsrket are more expensive than CA...and then some stuff are cheap. Wish i was still there.... Bon voyage.
You'll be in the financial district there, a lot of skyscrapers and nice hotels but it's only about a 20 minute grab ride to Little India, Chinatown etc and grab is so cheap.
@Ayngelina most of the stalls yes. But of course not all the stalls are perfect. In penang, the popular dishes are nasi kandar and asam laksa and prawn noodles. The original is from there. Other states have their laksa.
@Ayngelina white coffee is where beans are roasted at low temperature to retain the minerals. When at high temperature like the common coffee, the minerals are destroyed. Also white coffee is roasted together sometimes with butter.
Wow didn’t a certain fellow Canadian urge you to go see Malaysia and be sure to go to Chinatown? But does he get invited to go with you? Noooooo. Does he even get a shout out? Nooooooo. 😢😢😢 We’ll have a great time anyway!
@@ayngelina well I will settle for your acknowledgment, and knowing that your having a great time! Sorry to hear of your robbery in Vietnam. Why not let us all know what happened, so we can be on guard!
Thanks 4 the fabulous video!
Malaysia was definitely a surprise.
What an exquisite place!
It was pretty special
Wow it looked amazing. Couldn't do the steps but would want to give it a try
I think if you took your time the steps would be ok. Most people go very slowly.
Is Mauritius next😊
You are pretty close to that island.
How expensive is it to visit?

Good content keep up the good work.
Thanks so much, I appreciate the kind words.
We are headed there next week. Can't wait to see the Batu Caves. Wish I had a drone. You captured some awesome views of the statue.
What neighborhood are you staying in?
@@ayngelina I don't know the neighborhood name, but near the Menara Kuala Lumpur tower. Will be there for 2 to 3 weeks. So excited for the food!

@@ayngelina Oh yeah, I am ready to try all the food of Malaysia. Definitely going to Little India and Chinatown.
I'm hoping to get back again soon and go to Penang as well, it's not too far!
You made it there!
Finally!
Eating noodles with chopsticks looks so daunting to me but you make it look easy.
If you pick enough up some fall off but then you're still left with some!
Very cool!
And all free!
@@ayngelina Even better!
It's my favourite price 🤣
Of course it is good. Prawn mee. In penang it is called hokkien mee
I want to go to Penang soon to eat as I heard it is the best!

yes I've heard there are so many laksas.
Allergies or a cold? Hope you've recovered.
A weird summer cold that lasted the entire time. But I have since recovered thankfully 😀
do you like nasi lemak?
Just like nasi Padang!
Hutong food court? For Chinese food elsewhere ICC pudu is good.
What should I try in Hutong food court?
@Ayngelina roasted bbq pork rice(char siew, siew yoke) , char kuey tiaw, white coffee.
What is white coffee?
@Ayngelina white coffee is where beans are roasted at low temperature to retain the minerals. When at high temperature like the common coffee, the minerals are destroyed. Also white coffee is roasted together sometimes with butter.
Very cool! I definitely want to try that.

Yes I definitely need to talk about it in an upcoming video, it’s weird to say but it ended up being a positive experience
