    Your work is simply stunning. But what is more impressive is that you pushed forward with the course even though you had limited resources. This just shows a glimpse of your will power , your passion , your calling and your love for art. This is a lesson we all should learn. Thank you so much for sharing this. Such inspiration.

      @@flomenaa That is great advice, Flo. I was thinking the same thing. I'm trying to clear my schedule and have the same hours every day - just like I'm going to a job. Have fun - I'll try - even during the challenging parts where the resistance comes up! That would be so great to see your videos of the second and third parts. It is very helpful! Gracias!

    • @flomenaa

      Yes I did that! I dedicated 20 hours every week, almost with a timer. And if I had extra time I did the exercise twice, it helps a lot to create a routine and loosing up!
      I know I had trouble with the edition but I’ll try to upload part 2 this next week!!

      @janinafisher101 2 роки тому +1

      @@flomenaa Good for you for doing it with such dedication! I was thinking that - about doing more exercises if I have the time. I guess I will see how it goes. I think you mean you had trouble with the editing. I am sure it is a lot of working editing videos. I read the article by the woman who talked about asking for donations in order to be able to afford to take the program, and I have done so, and have been receiving donations. I have promised these people that I will do some videos of me as I go through the course too. It will help keep me focused and on track, too, I think. It is so wonderful that people are willing to support me in this process!

    • @flomena2081
      @flomena2081  2 роки тому

      @@janinafisher101 Haha yes I meant editing. That's a great idea!! Good luck and if you ever do videos tag me so I can follow your process! Maybe do a weekly video that would give you the pressure of painting.
      Remember that everything it's practice, try to not get discourage if you're not having the results you were expecting. At the end will come along great.

    I’m wondering….. Is it part of the Milan Art Institute’s curriculum that graduates plug the institute? Seems like EVERY graduate has a MAA “infomercial”. No reflection on you! Your art is beautiful…just an honest question.

    • @flomena2081
      @flomena2081  10 місяців тому +1

      Not really. I made this video 2 years ago and I was super excited when I graduated and still super grateful for what I learned. I can’t speak for the rest but in my personal case no, nobody told me or ask me to talk about them I did it because I was genuinely excited and I think it’s a great program that gave me the skills and confidence to become an artist. I hope it helps 😊

    • @flomena2081
      @flomena2081  10 місяців тому +2

      And also because when I did it I spent a lot of money I didn’t have and when I researched there was barely any information out there! So I did the video so other people like me can see what to expect from it, I know I would have love to watch something similar before taking it. I guess maybe that’s the reason other people do it too… maybe 🤷🏻‍♀️

    Why all artists finishing that program have all the similar style ? Just asking.

    • @flomena2081
      @flomena2081  Рік тому +2

      Hi! We all study the same techniques so I guess we have a common base. I can only speak for me but I got into the program because I loved the style so I wanted to have it but make it in my own voice.
      There’s a lot of people that don’t have the same style and paint different (in my opinion) maybe the most recognizable ones have the same use of color and “style” and that gives that impression.
      Also with years of practice you evolve your own techniques and voice so I guess in a few years we’ll all paint different, at the beginning you kinda paint what you learned. I definitely feel that my style has changed a lot this year

    • @Redefine59
      @Redefine59 9 місяців тому

      Seems like it would be natural to reflect the style of a mentor/teacher. I would imagine that as a graduate continues to produce art and grow (and study under other artists) you would see more diversification over time.
