What a great weekend---Georgia beats an old rival, Auburn, while Alabama inexplicably loses to Vanderbilt and Arkansas upsets Tennessee. I'm a Georgia lifer, and have no other allegiances to any school other than UGA---but I do pull for good people, and Sam Pittman has to be one of the nicest men who's ever coached in the SEC. You couldn't wipe the smile off my face when the final seconds ticked off the clock in Fayetteville. So happy for Coach Pittman, and congrats to Vandy for pulling off the upset of, well, the century (?). Go Dawgs!
Why go to a football game in person if you don’t want to get loud and energetic? If you’re frustrated with the team, or the loss, or the play then STAY HOME.
Seriously.. if I go to a game I fully intend to lose my voice and get loud while on defense.. third down.. any time that calls for hollering and standing, all of it. I see way too many people at games just sitting there.. I couldn't
Kirby has earned the right to say whatever he wants to about Dawg fans and crowd participation. We as fans of this great program, that he has positioned us to be, should answer the call just like players do when he challenges them. He only wants the stadium experience/home field advantage to be the best it can be. Nothing wrong with that. Saban used to get onto Bama fans the same way. Let’s answer Kirby’s call!!! We have got one home game with a team that is above 500%. People pay over 100 dollars for their seat. I would advise Kirbie to get the student body that basically get in for free to create some artificial inspiration which is basically what he's complaining about. The fact is NIL is distancing players from the school they represent. People get excited when there is something to get excited about, period. .... It seems to me the student body would be the natural folks to lead the crowd with cheers but comparing the GA=Bama game to the GA- Auburn game as far as crowd participation is a joke
Players demanding loyalty, when they now demand 6 and 7 figure incomes for theirs, don't get it. Earn our loyalty with good play and you don't need to worry about the fans. Fans putting up 100 dollars just to get in the stadium is a pretty sure sign of loyalty
I know the game was against Auburn, but I’ve been to about 15 homecoming games and for some reason the crowd has always been flat on Homecoming. I was there and the fans tried to get loud during third downs. We will need to get better for the next 3 big home games! Go Dawgs….
One thing about the Vandy upset, the significance of the Ga.- Alabama game has been removed and though Ga won last weekend. Alabama losing dropped GA's status down to fifth in National polls
Help me to understand why Georgia fans don't care about winning the SEC championship. I have heard and read many comments from Georgia supporters and fans that winning the SEC is not a focus. Why not?
It’s not really that complicated. Fans are butthurt over the loss to Bama AGAIN. This weekend just felt different and it’s going to take a couple weeks for that sting to go away. These coaches don’t realize how mentally vested fans get into their teams right wrong or indifferent. And quite frankly this team plays with very little emotion. Fans feed off the teams emotion and vice a Verse
Not exactly a hot take there.. that's why Saban got out early, now I'm concerned Kirby won't have a shot to over take Saban bc of the new rules of the game and NIL smh
Kirby looked like fool because his players are not living up to the money "WE" have put out! I don't want to hear one person call me out until YOU put your money out there instead of sitting at home thinking your a fan. I have the right to complain
I've been a season ticket holder for years, I'm an alum, I give to the collective, but I think it's inappropriate to tell people who can't afford it they aren't true fans. That's just wrong. Maybe rethink that comment..

2:24 I told my husband that I noticed the Georgia fans were very quiet, I was surprised because they are usually very loud and supportive.
