Thank you for visit our hotel in green village guest house in phakding ❤❤❤
Thanks for the great hospitality ! 🙏
Great vid! Just a quick one - I've heard you can't do solo trek to EBC anymore. Have you heard anything like that? Or any solo trekkers on the route? Thanks
I met heaps of solo trekkers! Not sure if they're necessarily enforcing that rule.
Fantastic Blog. When did you folks do the trek?
Thanks Mate! We did it mid/ end of November ! Decent time to go (shoulder season) and Diwali was great
How did you get your drone shots bro did you just wing it
Just on the outskirts of the park! (So I wouldn’t get in trouble)
Congratualtion on you successfull trip
Thanks for stopping by Mr Rajitha! 14 days
No guide $0, (food and tea huts/hotels $500-600, at $40-50/ day), Medicine $75 (altitude pills), clothes I already had (hard shell, puffer jacket , hiking boots, sleeping bag, water purifying tablets) (total $800-1000) but you can buy gear in Kathmandu
Looking to do it next year. What month did you go?
We went in late November ! (Shoulder season) we even got to see the festival of lights.
Good luck Donna !
On november is the best time to visit Nepal
@@bikalmagar6165 absolutely 👍
What time
Of year did you do the trek ?
We did it mid - end of November ! Great time to do it.
6:15 people have started to take Diamox prophylactically without even trying to go without. It is not necessary for all, I have never taken it and I have been 25 times over 5000m and 3 times well over 6000m.
We met a bunch of hikers who didn’t take them either !
I’m curious how my body would react. Perhaps we’ll see the next trek 👍
@@Evantures In the past practically nobody used it, now it seems to be the norm.
Helicopter evacuations: google Nepal helicopter rescue scam.
There is a much more impressive high trail on the opposite side of the valley from Tengboche which goes via Mong La - Phortse - Pangpoche. Everybody should use that on the way up, not walk through Tengboche twice (this for those hiking to EBC only). Next time! I have been to Khumbu 5 times since 1985, 5 months total.
How u doing even❤❤
I’m good Ethan! I hope you and the family are doing well 👍
Yep we are
Be there in sept for solo trek
Happy trekking Jim 🗻🙌
