For any1 not knowing pyro basically sees everything as a paradise when in reality he is killing people, for example hitting someone with an axe to the face is the equivalent of giving a child a large lolipop, and shooting fireballs through someones stomach is just him shooting bubbles at a child, for him his flamethrower is some weird thing shooting rainbows

In her backstory her team of Antarctic researchers were under an ice storm are were going to miss the resupply window. So they elected to go into cryo-stasis. For unknown reasons instead of the few months they had planned, the cryo-stasis kept her frozen for 9 years. When she went to wake her team, she realized that every other cryo-pod had failed during that time. Her entire team had died while in cryo.
For anyone who is surprised by pyro’s seemingly split personality, it is pyro vision
