    IMO, this is a very good price on a high end hobby grade buggy that is very well built and fast. The aluminum parts are a great touch.

    Got one a couple of weeks ago, its really nice car, good handling, suspension, fast.
    Ive upgraded with more aluminium parts for a few bucks.
    With this car build, big brands like Traxxas will have a hard time competing due to
    price vs what you get for your money.

    I have the two speed nitro version and it's an excellent car that comes with a nice transmitter. I would strongly recommend applying lock-tight and tightening all of the screws before racing it. i bought a nitro frrom hsp, but i had a hard time to start it for the first time, the pull start gets extremely hard to pull after pulling it for six or seven times, i primed the engine by holding the exhuast and pulled the start 3 times, so i dont think i flooded the engine at all

      I used to have one many years ago, One of the bolts that connected to the wheel to make the wheels steer came off and was lost. So it then went into the bin. Now I look back and I could of just put a new bolt on but I guess 7 year old me didn’t know :(

    Thanks for the review mate, atm I'm debating whether or not to get this... Orrrrr a nitro buggy.
    Reason why I'm deciding with this and a nitro one is that I have a battery charger that accepts T plugs to charge off of, so that saves the need of having to stockpile any fuel but yeah... decisions decisions...

    • @RDsRCReviews
      @RDsRCReviews  4 роки тому

      I would recommend brushless. So much less hassle and the acceleration and torque are great. Nito has a bit more power but so much hassle with starting them up and maintaining the engine not to mention they run out of fuel fast. I always wanted a nitro but after I got one I wasn't impressed. I only got it started a few times. The only really cool thing over brushless is the cool sound of the gas engine.

    Hi, friend! how's it going? They told me that this buggy has very simple and fragile shock towers (they bend very quickly). Do you think that if I put a brushed motor and a 2s lipo on this car, the shock towers will easily double? regards! (I would not jump more than 3 inches or 10 cm high)

      I have bent the rear shock towers from a crash from doing large jumps but I was able to bend them back. Why would you want to go with brushed? The top speed isn't really going to affect how easily they bend.

      I bent the rear towers in a huge jump but was able to bend them back. That's the one big disadvantage of aluminum over plastic. Plastic will either snap or pop back but it won't bend and stay bent.

      Yes it should be able to handle 3s. I'll try and do a speed test with a gps app on a smartphone when the weather cooperates but the weight of the phone will effect the speed a little.

    i tried the 3s lipo, the tires wear out super fast, run over street bump nd you can see sparks coming out from the bottom when it lands, took it to skate board park, dog bone popped out from high jump, screws came loose, but i fixed on the spot then tighten it at home. put some bike led light in, super nice at night, u can see the inside of the car, rear wing put on some red led light, flashing at night, very bad. i have a jlb truggy, but once i owned this one, i actually had more fun, bc i ran it like no tomorrow. the front shock towers always got bent, only draw back if i have to complain about one thing.
