Pro tip:
Use two barrels so that you can have one that is off of the 5 minute cool down at all times. Open the sealed barrel with your milk. Grab all the milk while having preserving salts in your inventory. Use the milks that you need at the time, then seal the rest in the second barrel with a stack of preserving salts. This way will save you precious real-time minutes of spoilage while not having to wait on the first barrel's re-seal cool down.
Every minute counts when you're raising tons of wyverns on a busy server.

The barrel is defiantly game changer👌🏼 from my testing I’ve had wyvern milk last 24 hours in real time and still have time left. And just so everyone knows if you don’t have the DLC if you have someone else make it for you you can still use it.

If you don't have BTT, but you have the free Shiny Dinos mod on your server, the "Frozen" dinos act as a freezer, and make the spoil time much much longer.

It's not p2w at all. It's early access as Fenrir acts like a fridge and increases timer to a little over 2 days. Add salt and it doubles. The barrel has a 5 min CD so you have to have at least 2 barrels. On top of it, really may need 3 in case you kill an alpha wyvern and get 50 milk. I tend to somehow get extremely lucky and find a 2nd alpha within 15 mins of the first so. So, you keep a dino nearby with salt and it can keep timer high while you wait on CD to seal again. See, lots of work and only really means you can focus on breeding, etc instead of milk monitor.

You can still transfer it to a different servers but you aren’t able to transfer items to SE yet on asa.
