I think this is a dilemma a lot women have. When you are young, you are searching for your self and come up short in feeling comfortable in your own skin as a result of it. But when you get older, you are more secure and know what you want. However, you no longer have your youth. That's not to say there isn't a spectrum. I've met really confident young women and really insecure older women. Just my observations.

You might think you are rich, pretty, and famous, but you need a validation of others that is not a success. You need to humble yourself and not how the world dictates your own self-esteem. It comes from the Lord and your spirit. The material things and people around you will not make you a whole person but the Father in heaven who created you is the one that you need to surrender yourself. it is not about loving yourself and most of all it is not about you. It's about God and his purpose of your life, that's the reason you feel empty and low self-esteem because material things cannot buy your true happiness and you cannot serve two masters it is either money or God. One way or another your spirit will be thirsty.
