What’s up man, I’m green to cybersecurity but have a strong understanding of what it is. My current career is an instrument/electrical technician at a gas plant I work around programmable logic controllers, hmi’s ethernet switches. I currently make around 90-100k. Im a veteran, I deal with disabilities with my lower back and feet that keeps me in pain all day. So im looking at just swapping careers for the sake of my health, and would love a work from home job. Is there any advice you can share with me before I enroll. They have a class beginning in late February at msu. Thanks.
Thank you for the video. I am considering SMU bootcamp classes that are coming up. Is it easy to find work/good salary after completeing the bootcamp??
It's probably not easy. If you happen to be with a company that already has developers, it may be a little easier to work your way into one of those roles.
@@TechLifeForLife Okay. I have a friend that works at a really good tech company in downtown Dallas. He recommended that i take this bootcamp through SMU
Hey brother I’m looking into changing careers and want to learn more about this program. What’s the cost of this program? Are you guaranteed a job as well? God bless brother
Hey Jay, I believe the cost is around 10K (free if you're a Veteran). You are not guaranteed a job or your money back if you do not get a job. There are a few out there that have a guarantee, but I haven't looked in a while.
Yes, they cover the basics but remember this is a bootcamp so everything comes at you fast you'll never feel like you have a solid grasp on everything. You should do a free course on freecodecamp.org or codecademy.com. The more you know before you start the better you'll do. Things will get complicated when you get into javascript, no reason struggling with HTML and CSS.
Do you recommend this camp

how difficult would you say it would be to find a job after the boot camp ?
Hello! I’m considering going through SMU bootcamp full time and work full time. Do you or anyone think this is doable?
I’m looking into SMU and this is perfect
Also do you need to purchase books for this coding camp?
