I call this soup funeral soup. When a family member was dying this sou was on the stove simmering for all of us going from hospital to home. It was so comforting to find a hot tasty meal waiting for us no matter what time of day it was. When a friend's husband died i made a huge pot of this soup for her and the family. She said how delicious the soup was and she wanted to know the name! She really didn't like my name of it. I don't care what you call it i must say that it is the most comforting meal i have ever eaten.

A small compositing toilet like an Ogo would be great in your Bunkie. Much easier in wet and snowy conditions than having to traipse outside. Plus no plumbing costs involved just coir blocks.

For the cabin/bunkie have you considered the tiny all in one sink/fridge/burners/cabinet combos that they make. Home depot has them online. Just a thought...in case you are interested, they are called compact kitchens on their website.

What a fun video today! Your editor is working magic and I love it. You should introduce all the people you have working for you - one day at a time. They are such a big part of your gardens and ability to make this wonder land of lush growth. I open YT every morning with my first cup of coffee and press the 2nd show on their list - always Garden Answer and always a treat! I need to go back and rewatch the rosemary episode as mine is beginning to take off with lovely green shoots and I NEED it so much. Again, your editor was so funny.

What a lovely video! It’s kind of funny, though, when it comes to what we love. I absolutely love black olives. I cannot, just cannot, stand parsnips. They taste like a dish rag that’s been sitting a little too long in the sink. 🤣 But we can agree that French onion soup makes everything taste delicious. Thanks Chelsea. Be well. ❤️

Still enjoying your beautiful green cupboards in the kitchen! The bunky is adorable! Can't wait to see how you have it decorated. Your soup is a wonderful vegetable soup even if you left out the hamburger but I can't wait to make this. I live with my daughter and family in a side suite and enjoy soup but no one else does. Having so many things on hand is great for this and I'll just freeze individual helpings - great for an old granny that has too much fun playing with her grands to bother cooking. Actually, I love cooking things they like: cookies, pie, pudding, veg sides, and beans. You have the best recipes!

Suggest in the future cabins for seniors, look into a Murphy bed rather than having to climb stairs. FYI there is a outdoor plywood which has its own nonslip texture. In the Seattle area it is carried by Dunn Lumber. I have it on both my porches. It is amazing stuff. Keep jugs of ice melt inside your cabins. Cheap insurance vs a costly fall. Keep big containers of hydrated lime in outhouses. Just like livestock stalls keeps smell down.

I have (I think) been successful with a quack grass battle by using a heavy layer of cardboard over an area with 1 ft of woodchip covered with a black tarp for 1 yr.
