    I just want to tell you how much I love your channel! I grew up catholic then went agnostic as a teen. I never even considered embracing Christianity again until I stumbled onto your fantasy series. Thank you for posting these sermons.

    My great grandmother was married at 14 and her and my papa grew up in church together stayed firm in their faith raised 10 children in a three bedroom house and loved each other until my papa went to see God. Amazing. Real love.

    Wow, the perspective shift when Pokluda noted the difference in the number of hands raised for divorced parents versus grandparents then clarified, “you have TWICE as many grandparents as parents.” Such an obvious observation and yet I didn’t look at it quite that way

    This is the pastor that is heading my heart in the right direction. He just popped up on my UA-cam. I'm sure the holy spirit told me to just play it, and I have enjoyed every sermon. Thank you Lord

    Love must be sincere( not fantasy). Hate what is evil and cling to what is good. Love this.

    It really is that simple, especially once you remove all the distractions the world says are 'needed' for a healthy relationship/marriage.

    Remember love is a choice. And when Jesus told his disciples what it really was to be married all of them said it would be better to be single. Marriage is a great thing but you cannot take it lightly. I found Christ after I was married and let me tell you I was doing it all wrong. I was expecting things but I learned that I have to be like Christ and sacrifice for my bride just like he did for the church. And that doesn't mean be a slave that means do all with love. For remember what Jesus said love God with all your heart mind and soul and love your neighbor as yourself. If you do those two things you will complete all of his commandments and laws.

    This is the kind of advice I wish I could have told myself when I was younger. Looking at the wrong place, wrong people, wrong time… I wasn’t supposed to do it my way. I was just stubborn. But God is so sooo good.. He saved me from a lot of heartaches and now I’m trusting in Him more and laying it all in His hands. My boring marriage will come one day and it will be blessed by God in Jesus name 🙏🏻🙌🏻♥️

    I love listening to Pastor Pokluda. He makes so much sense, demands attention in his style and projection and is really making a difference in my life at this moment in my life. This is nourishment for my soul. Thank you! I’m grateful I came across the Porch. I’m hooked. This is a good addiction. God bless!
    I have a question which I would like advice. Is there a place to send an email with my question? Thank you!

    that’s funny you brought up the break up. In your video fantasy guy you said something about girls wanting bad boys that say I love you but then in the same breath say I hate you and throw something at you. I’m pretty sure in that movie Jennifer Aniston throws some thing At Vince Vaughn in the heat of an argument. I thought about that scene when you said that in the other part of this series.

    I don't mean to hate at all, but that seems kind of disappointing & boring. Of course I want a marriage that lasts but idk... maybe its my generation.

    • @MaryBliss16
      @MaryBliss16 5 років тому +4

      maybe social media has set expectations so high, it is literally impossible now not to be disappointed in love like we are in everything else portrayed by the media.

      It depends on how old you are. I don’t know how old or young you are but if you’re younger, marriage can seem boring and mundane, but after many failed relationships and giving myself away to guys I began to realize the importance of God’s way and how His way is the correct way. Unfortunately I had to learn the hard way after many pointless, meaningless relationships. You begin to crave love and not LUST and a REAL relationship where the person LOVES you for you and not your body or sex. You want someone to spend your life with.. a best friend who knows you like nobody else.. who never leaves and fights for you. Relationships are work whether that’s friendships or relationships. Marriage is not to be taken lightly. It’s a daily commitment to your spouse. If you’re lusting after many people then you’re not ready.. you realize once you find that person no one interests you AND you just respect the person enough to not lust after someone by looking at someone else or flirt with someone else. Social media is FAKE and a JOKE.. get off of it.. that’s my best advice for you.. stop comparing yourself to other people.. I know to stay off it because it is not healthy for me. I know I am not strong enough to be on it because it effects me in a negative way.. it wastes my time and then I start beating myself up looking at different girls and comparing myself to them

    • @christinaarebalo499
      @christinaarebalo499 5 років тому +10

      MaryBliss16 and you mentioned the media.. yes you are correct the media is corrupt... mainstream media is corrupt and the government feeds us what THEY want us to believe. It’s all a joke!!! God’s way is the only way... it’s that simple..Hollywood and the music industry artists are used to influence the people.. what they say goes.. what is trending for them infiltrates down to us... people copy everything they do.. people make idols out of these people.. what they eat, how they dress, makeup, beauty, fashion... so what you see on social media is what they’re doing.. people want to believe they’re unique and express themselves but in reality they’re just copying what everyone else is doing
