Yes i left a few comments on a few different videos as I went around trying to figure out what I was hearing and why. I didn't mean to badger you or be annoying! My bad! I was really trying to be objective and listen from an audio engineering point-of-view rather than personal preference and while yes, I think the vocals sound better without these particular effects, I also thinkt that objectively this is also true. Your singer, is an excellent singer! He sounds great. He can sing smooth, harsh, high, low, has warmth and depth to his voice and a variety of natural saturation and harmonics. When this effect is strong, it changes the harmonic content of his voice so much that it starts sounding like a different singer almost or even different pitch and comes across a little weird, a little strange, not as warm, not as wide and not as clear. Obviously I'm just 1 guy and if you like what you're doing, go right on ahead and keep doing it! I'm not trying to tell you what to do, but I definitely think you could implement these effects in a much more subtle or sparing way that adds to and improves what is already there and is good rather than take so much away at times. Anyways, ty, and let me say, I've been a fan for years and years now. You guys are great! You all sound excellent. You stay true to the energy of Metallica but bring your own flavour and sound damn good while doing it. These days when i want to listen to Metallica, i don't. I listen to you guys instead! I especially like the stuff you did with the orchestra. Your redition of "Turn The Page" is elevating to say the least.
