    One thing to note: Andrew was retired for a few years by this point and was literally commentating on the fights that night. He threw on his shorts and jumped in the ring to ensure the guy still fought because his opponent b*tched out. That is why Andrew is taking it easy on him and doesn't look in "fighting shape".

    I have no idea about the background of this fight. But fighting in smaller promotions like this a lot of the time an opponent pulls out last minute and you either don't fight or take whoever they have in your weight class.
    A assumption but this may have been the case and the kid was willing to step up. Tate didn't look too happy about the win as he shouldn't with almost 100 more fights.

He doesn’t really have a hand speed or a lot power though which, and his punches are kind of telegraphed on some of them.

    People need to understand that there is a shit ton of kickboxing associations. His kickboxing record looks insane but a lot of kickboxers have records like that. A lot of kickboxing fights are against new or upcoming kickboxers who don't have a lot of experience. He definitely isn't a fraud, he even won some professional kickboxing championships. He might not be like Adesanya or Pereira level, but he still is a pretty good fighter. Also I'm pretty sure this fight was after a long break that he took after he retired

      Nobody’s claiming that Andrew Tate is the best fighter in the world. He’s a legit fighter and it’s laughable when somebody emotionally motivated says he can’t fight. Anyone’s who’s knows anything about fighting knows he’s got legitimate ability.
      Andrew knows himself he’s not the best. He’s talked about kick boxing not paying him shit which is why he focused on money and now has a net worth of 300 million. He’s one of the smart ones in the game, a lot of fighters in the most elite leagues in MMA live pay check to pay check.

    here's my question DJ. how would Tate did against ANY of the kick boxers you know from ONE Championship? Eersel or Tawanchai for example? My thought is that if you're a champion, you want to take on the best of the best to test yourself. Tate never moved up from the ISKA. There are better promotions with better fighters, why stay and fight against debutantes? Personally, I think he was scared he'd get beaten.
    badly.
    Even someone who has never seen kickboxing before, would be able to tell the difference between Tate and ANY One Championship fighter.
    Tate would have his ass handed to him.

      I really wonder if you guys know what you're talking about when it comes to kickboxing. Do you even know what ISKA is? And what happened to K1 and Glory during Tate's kickboxing career? Because it seems you guys don't. Kickboxing is not as established and as talent-rich as MMA but saying he's scared is stupid because the guy has 9 losses. All the fighters you mentioned are mainstream KB fighters which makes me think you only know mainstream KB

    • @gizmotis
      @gizmotis 7 місяців тому +28

      @@samme79 I know enough and I've seen a couple of Tate's matches, both kickboxing and MMA. His MMA was not that good, and his kickboxing was mediocre at best. kickboxing was huge in Europe in the 90s and 00s. do you think he would have lasted half a round with Ernesto Hoost? Baz Ruten? have you seen the level of kickboxing in One Championship? Regian Eersel would tear Tate apart. Tawanchai would hurt him badly.

However he could have still looked better if he had tried harder but I'm aware this is after his retirement prior to this fight, He has been retired for 2 whole years. so that's that, however, he could have still performed better.
