In this series, I’m bringing a 1964 Chevy Crew Cab back to life, with every step of the build documented so you can see the magic happen.
In this video I working on getting the new rear door shin fitting. Had to cut the front down to adjust for the shorter door shell. Cut the top edge down because the aftermarket skin was a little to short at the top body line. Then had to deal with the front edge that dip onto the hood cowl on a stock door. Ended up welding it all to gather with .023 soft mig wire and now with a little grinding and Hammer /dolly work its pretty close to getting it on permanently.
