I sold my 3320 and replaced it with the 3033R. Although the controls are much more convenient on the new tractor, the electronics make it buggy. Our 3033 was back in the shop for 3 weeks with less than 20 hours. Now we have 150 hours on it and it is dead in the water and going back again. This is my 3rd John Deere tractor and without a doubt, the least reliable. We sold our 3320 to a friend after we had it 5 years. He’s had it for several years and runs it way harder than we did and it still has never had to go to the dealer. I don’t know what happened to the product, but it sure isn’t good.

My dad recently bought a new 3033r. We have nothing but hills to mow, and with this tractor, you had to pull up on the pto switch every time you drove in reverse to keep the mid mount engaged. I found a way, using the dash buttons, to manually configure the computer to enable reverse mid mount mowing without having to pull up every time. I'd highly recommend researching it if it's wasting you time, like it did us. When the you're mowing in reverse going up a steep incline, and forget to pull up on the pto switch, the engine dies. This is a huge safety hazard, and have no clue why its even on there.
We love the 3033r, my only gripes would be the pedals seem far away, even when the seat is adjusted properly. The reverse pto nightmare like I mentioned. The 4 hydr lines that hookup to the front end loader are a pain to connect/disconnect, I use a flat head to make it easier. You have to carry a pen or small tool just to open the hood. Why not just make it a push button? Motion Match needs one or two more settings on the right side. Our 2520 stopped a lot quicker than this one. The fuel fill location is horrible. I have to blow it with compressed air every fillup. The flap that covers the fill spout interferes with installing the fuel cap, you have to hold it back a hair and then thread it on. The 4wd engagement needs reworked. It pops back in 2wd at times, unless you hold it in 4wd and roll forward a bit. Its not the way you have to roll to change range, it just feels unsafe. The rear top link holder is junk. It broke off the first time I hit the smallest of bumps. It's bungeed for now.
Not hating on it, just small things I've noticed while operating it. Its a huge upgrade from the 2520 we had. Love the tractor. Me having to research how to disable reverse mid mount mowing just seemed irresponsible on Deere's part. It is what it is.

As a user of a 4 family tractor, there is nothing more than a light on the dash that comes on for the regen, so all that results is cleaner air.
