I love how you let the girls choose the gifts . Some ppl buy expensive jewellery etc but it has no personal meaning. My friends grandson chose a can of beer for his nan (he had to get his dad to pay as he was only 3) and he also persuaded his dad to get pie and chips from the chip shop because on Fridays she always has it for her tea. She was so happy because it's things she has as a treat and her little grandson had noticed knowing getting them was a treat for her . My friend wouldn't stop talking about the gift because it was the best present ever . Her words were " they could have bought expensive jewellery that would just sit in my jewelry box hardly used but the chip shop tea favourite drink is the best 🍟🥃"

Hahha, Mom here - we did the same thing for his birthday. Half the fun is seeing all the random things they come up with. This is a bit of a tradition now. I loved it ! They made me a beautiful card … and I love noodles and ritz crackers / franki knows I like mouthwash, I think they did pretty good! Haha. xx
