Awwwwwwwwwwesome, normally I don't write comment on youTube. I am Deaf myself, use to dance Scottish dancing. Watching your dancing brings back my scottish dancing memories. You are sooooo awesome, I can see its lots of hard work, you have done very well, goosebump. Well done!!! Clap clap clap
The three of you were great performers on stage. All you deserve five stars for putting time and practice into the dance. Keep up the great work.
I'm a much more inexperienced Highland dancer (I've only been dancing for 4 years) and I am just blown away by this! I just started learning how to leap last week, and it is HARD! The amount of training and work you must have put in to achieve this routine is huge, you have definitely inspired me to practice more!
Absolute perfection. Very beautiful.
That was wonderfull!!! The leaps were amazing!
Beautiful choreography and dancing
SO much TALENT!! I'm really hoping to pick it back up in college. I quit to do volley ball, but I kept practicing the dances to keep me fresh. You three are amazing!!! :D
Well, did you pick it up again? If not there's no time like the present.
That was absolutely incredible! Thank you for sharing!
Holy HAGGIS you are all amazing!
Brilliant ..and the music really good too !
you are all absolutely amazing- such beautiful dancers. I really regret not sticking in at dancing and practicing more- 28 and too old now 😢😢 used to compete with David quite a lot and a few times also at Cowal ☺ congratulations to you on on a truly remarkable achievement - just shows you what a lot of time, effort and hard work can do. all three of you are an inspiration to any dancer.
I've just started scottish dancing. You have really inspiered me

they make it look so effortless :'D *tries to hop once- out of breath*
Practicing, that is why these dancers are sooooo good!
Bravo! You are really fantastic dancers! Many greetings from Hungary Budapest:)
You're welcome Anthea. It is good to see guy participate in a Irish jig wearing a kilt. Because it shows very good pride what he does for his culture. Plus it takes a lot of courage what he does too.
wow that was amazing you are all wonderful dancers :) xx
wow... they make it look so effortless... and i know for a fact highland dancing if not effortless :D

OMG Anthea! Which one are you?!!! This is an amazing choreography. I'd love to do this one day. I think my friend said she has danced with you before in Scotland. :O
She's the first girl who comes on stage
Браво! Такая четкость, легкость.👍👍👍
love it.
You're welcome. I wish. I can see more dances with kilts. It shows interest and great pride to wear a kilt.
Great!!!
Brilliant
I'm in my second year of highland dance. I wish I could leap like that
Now
I wish I had never stopped! 32 too late for beginning again?
Men in kilts are attractive. Really, really attractive. :D
So handsome! 😍
I saw you you are such a beautiful dancer :) x
There's a lot of ballet in this! I've noticed Scottish and Irish dancers introducing more and more ballet steps.
I do dancing
tbf highland is older than ballet...
No not in Irish dancing, we sometimes do ballet steps in shows or something like that, but not at competitions or practice.
HI Anthea- I have a question. I'm just a new admirer of Scottish Highland Dancing, and was curious to know why do the male dancers do the same exact steps with the same arm positions as the females? why wouldn't they have more subdued or masculine type of steps that look would more manly and let the females do the more flamboyant moves?. is it just "tradition" that the men do this? also, and can you tell me the proper name of the dance about the angry houswife? I saw it one time and liked it but I can't find it again because I don't know the name. Thanks!
Hello David! This is actually a choreography, so it is not the traditional dances, the dancers/ dance teachers make these based on what they decide so in this case they are all doing the same steps and using the same arm positions. In the traditional "Highland dances" for example the Fling or Sword, the steps were actually made by and for men, many dances being used in war, it took quite a while for women to be able to dance them wearing a kilt, so men and women use the same steps and arms. Women traditionally danced the "National Dances" like the Blue Bonnets or Lilt, which are more graceful and "flamboyant", wearing a different outfit. Now a days men also do the national dances but wear a kilt and do similar arm positions to the highlands, for it to be more masculine.
Also the dance you are talking about it about an angry Irish washer woman, it is called the Irish Jig.
Hope this helps!
+Cassie Weiss thank you Cassie for taking the time to reply back and explain. I love this dance... I love when the pipes kick in. What's so awesome is that you have a real pipe player at your events. Makes it genuine.
Leaps❤️❤️❤️
what is the song called that was played on the bagpipes? and you 3 were AMAZING! :)
What is the music you are dancing to?:)
Naomi Paterson gum gum style
Whats the song called?
nice
This is great.
I would also enjoy a new style.
Maybe more with lights and those shadows incorporated more.
I imagine them in all white.
And traditional colored lights apon them.
There are 4 girls at my dance school that can leap as high as that
