Thank you very much! It helped me a lot. Finaly I solved overheating issue. First time I assembled it, the screen had some interference, after repeating diss/-asemble it works well. Now i'm able to dissasemble and assemble it by heart

Thanks for the video, it was really helpful! One big question though, just before you replaced the fan you added a blob of white stuff to the board, where the heat sync connects. What was that and where can I get it? Does anybody know? Thanks!
Followed every instruction carefully till 7:04, very gently cleaned the dust that was gathered, put it back together by reversing the video, and now my laptop won't turn on :( PLEASE HELP

the horror!! HP is a disaster. The poor wizard. To clean the cooling system, had to completely disassemble the laptop. You are very patient.

+Ben Horn this is thermal paste. For example you can use Arctic Cool MX-4 or Zalman ZM-STG2.

Priyanka U check how pluged all cables (power botton, power cable, fan cable etc), try to reassemble, check RAM.
