Thanks - I actually I just purchased it. It seems well made. It would be useful if your video was framed not as tight, including the table. I was curious to see the difference in size between the 2 housings, a wider framing would help viewers to get an idea. The lenses on the RX100 series is definitely better than the 16-50 kit lens. the vi and vii have more reach, and still have a wider aperture, so that compensates for the smaller sensor noise. The battery on the RX100 cameras lasts not as long, so that is a factor. I had a SeaFrogs housing for the A6x00 series and the switch lever would not always engage. The Salted Line for the RX100 seems better.I wonder if the 4" dome port works with the RX100 vi/vii lens fully extended at 200mm equivalent.

I included a side by side photo in the blog post, I should have put it in the video too.
I expect the 4" dome would have enough room, but in my experience using a dome with anything other than a very wide angle lens can cause issues with focusing.

Hey man, I have a question, not really about this video, but about your blog.
You talk about the Olympus TCON-17X (1.7X) , do know if this is still available for sell, or is that another version??

I don't think they've manufactured it in a long time, but you can still find used TCON-17Xs available to buy on eBay or other market places for second hand gear.

Hey man, I have a question. I purchased pistal grip for my salted line RX series .Do I need to take off metal piece on the bottom, or leave on , and on the metal piece put pistal grip? Thank you.

The metal plate stays on the housing, you just unscrew the threaded bolt, put the cable through the hole, and attach the pistol grip to the metal plate.
Once it arrives you'll see how it goes together.

Does it take photosection? Like keeping the picture botton pressed and taking multiple pictures from one click press

I'm not sure what you mean by "photosection".
The housing just prevents the camera getting wet, it doesn't do anything that the camera can't already do.
You can use any of the features of the camera when it's in the housing, so if you set it up in continuous shooting mode, then hold the shutter button down, it will keep shooting photos, if that's what you mean.
If you're using an RX100 model which can install apps (I think the Mark V was the last one) then you might be able to get hold of the Sony Timelapse app (if it's still available), which might do what you want, but I'm not sure.

What i mean is if it takes burst only in 24fps

@@joseaparicio178 this housing is compatible with lots of different versions of the RX100 series, you need to check if the one you're interested in does what you want it to.
Have a look at the Sony website, or search for the camera you're going to use to see if it will do what you need.
