Those who are willing to get this drive, please get the metal one. The plastic is really soft and can break easily. For little more it's way better to get the metal one, which is more durable and premium feeling.
6:40 the speed dropped to 30 range. Why did you remove the read fluctuations? I was hoping to see that because if the fluctuations are there in the rest of the transfer (almost 70% remaining), then I would buy ssd and enclosure for a little more money. Good detailed review otherwise ❤
Yes one can go with SSD and enclosure but again the speed will be limited by the usb interface. Yes but still will be faster then PD. Lot of us want compactness and hassle free experience. And here I was focusing on just pendrive.
@@papaji561 ok i understand. So does the read speed fluctuate like write speed (falls from 90 to 40s range right) or it maintains 350+ speed till the end of the 40gb transfer?
@@hsp1316The reason why it fluctuates too much is because of heat. This drive gets hot easily, not hot but warm. Depending on your environment it may vary. And the heat reduces the speed. When it's cool, it has got some great read write speed. From my experience this is what I've come to know. But I hope the drive would be running flawlessly for more than few year. I don't want to lose files.
Yes that is true that is has plastic interface. there are so many pen drive with similar interface after very long use that kind of issue has been noted. Everything has it's pro and cons. sometimes having metallic body cause electric shock (not every house has earthing), also this pen drive comes with Type A plastic and Type C metallic interface.
Yes I have Used this with USB3.2 Type A and Type C Both Variants. I also Tried This With USB 4.0. When We copy from Pendrive to Computer then We can Achieve the Claimed Speed. Hope this clarifies you doubts.

USB 3.2 port external body made of plastic. It broke after some months of use. I experienced the same. Type C port good.
Thank you for sharing your feedback. Yes this is common issue with plastic interface.
