Thanks o much for sharing this. I've only been shooting a few months and tried some of these exercises, and immediately noticed I had better groupings due to my release being more relaxed.
I've always used my finger tips, I will try this as it looks much less painful after a days shoot. I just need to find a range that is open in Covid 19 world.
Was watching JD3 using his deep hook. Makes some sense but only if you can get that relaxed release. Will be fun to try these exercises and look for improvement. Thanks for the video!
Often I lose shape when I press into my anchor point. I don't use a clicker, so learning to press hard into anchor and use my chin as a draw stop has improved my consistency, but it introduced some tension and instability in my draw hand.
Either you need more strength and control in your back to manage the 42 lbs or think about lowering your drawing weight. Your bow should not be way stronger than you, try to keep it in a range you can manage. Too much weight easily leads to shaking because your muscles can draw the weight but not control it properly. When you don't want to change the drawing weight you need to do a lot of different exercises off-bow with a rubberband or something similar. One of my junior archers had the same problem and we had a lot of work to get him on the right level for his bow. My advice would be to lower your drawing weight to the range you can manage, do not overdo yourself, it can be really frustrating. Keep going with your training and do not forget to have fun!
Lmao nobody taught me archery and I’m only now starting to realize that make having me anchor point being that my index finger was above my lip and middle under having the arrow right at my mouth I stead of near my jaw
@@jobagoat if you just relax you get a dead release, so how do you get the perfect reaction? Do you use the rhomboid? Or just the trapezius and pull the elbow down? Maybe people are using a combination of both, how do you avvoid the crow bar and leaver effect?, nah lets just make a short simple bite sized video...
Morten Jacobsen i would not focus on which muscles to use when working on ur release unless ur shooting at a very high level (~340/360 @70m). and besides, its not like there’s a general consensus in the archery community as to which muscles should be engaged to perform a good release
@@jobagoat then your not cognetive in charge, and until they present an hypothesis we sre not getting any where, are you realy learning to shoot if you dont. Learn the best teknuiqe, your not training a bokser to throw weak jabs.. So why teach this beginner mentality?
Morten Jacobsen yes but the question is, what is the best technique for shooting? There is no single form or technique that works for everyone, unless u know of one?
No, his release, is bad, at the time of release, and only then, the fingers are "dead" the best example are the Korean women. Look at his release, when he shouts close (he's doing it right) but from a bigger distance is problematic. About the pressure, imagine the way you carry you groceries, your wrist is relaxed and you have a decent amount of pleasure inside your buckles, now imagine that you simply relax your fingers and the grocery bag is falling on the ground. This is the best way I can describe it.
The accent is way enough entertainment, I'm trying to focus on what he is saying , get rid of the stupid music while he is talking, what is the deal with youtube videos and silly music in the background, stop it
I really enjoyed this video, I will definitely keep the exercises in mind to be a better coach for my archers. Thank you for sharing!

Very helpful. Thanks.
amazing, thank you coach
I want to purchase exact same bow that you have but from where I can get?
what distance are you shooting at and what strength is the bow?
I like your release technic, but can you give me the example of barebow release technic, cause I'm shooting barebow, thanks before.
Can this same technique be used for standard bow or just particularly recurve ?
thanks!

i'm using 42 lbs but i can't pull the string properly and it always shaking,so how to pull it like an athlete?

@@amarendrausada3944 Switch to a lower poundage so it is easier to pull and build up your strength from there.

Lower your draw weight. Save the workout for off the range
Sir can i ask u one question
Lmao nobody taught me archery and I’m only now starting to realize that make having me anchor point being that my index finger was above my lip and middle under having the arrow right at my mouth I stead of near my jaw
Why do Mongols use their thumb instead
tnx
Why you guys spin the bow?? It adds more power or extra points?
It’s a result of having a long rod and stabilisers on the front of the bow. It makes it top heavy and will swing forward after a shot
Still need physics for this sport
❤❤❤
🙌🙌🙌
Everyone seems to have a full Hoyt bow setup, how are they so rich 😔😔😔

Read.
What’s wrong with his tab and release? Like a newbie 😂
