- We visit the grave of Bruce Lee, legendary martial arts master and teacher and icon of the silver screen, laid to rest alongside his son, actor Brandon Lee. They spend eternity next to each other on a hillside looking eastward in Seattle's Lakeview Cemetery, both taken from us at far too young an age.

I was just there last week when I was visiting Seattle. I paid respects to both. Two lives cut too short. RIP Bruce and Brandon Lee. You're both missed to this day.

RIP Lee Jun-fan (Bruce Lee) (November 27, 1940 - July 20, 1973)(aged 32) and Brandon Bruce Lee (February 1, 1965 - March 31, 1993)(aged 28) both of you will be truly missed and I enjoy watching your movies everyday of my life. I visited Bruce Lee's gravesite in late 1993, only 3 or 4 months after Brandon's untimely death. It was at first difficult to locate Bruce's grave, but we did find it after looking for around 10 minutes. It had been vandalized, his photo destroyed and a rudimentary carving found in its place. Brandon's grave, immediately next to Bruce's, was marked with a simple placque. I wish I still had he photos!!! My heart leaps with joy seeing their beautiful and grand gravesites today. Thank you for this video.

The design of Brandon’s headstone is both beautiful and sad. Two pieces of charcoal granite, joined at the bottom and separated at the top, symbolizing Brandon and his fiancé, and how his untimely death ended their union.

Got see this in 2018 during a father/son trip to Seattle with my dad. Since I started studying martial arts in 1994, Bruce Lee has been an inspiration to me to be the best person I can be both on and off the mats. RIP to father and son, may they both continue to inspire people for generations to come.

I like that there is a variety of coloured headstones in this cemetery. It gives off this feeling you would have at a park, where there are lots of different people, all wearing different colours and their own styles of clothing.
We actually love visiting this cemetery not just for the Lee's graves but because it is a lovely, peaceful and park-like space, just like you say. Thanks for watching and commenting!

I met this guy, on a train, and he was telling me about how he had recently been to Jim Morrison's grave. I could tell he got something from it. This is the first celebrity grave site I've seen. And it's obviously not like being there, because this is a computer screen, and Lakeview Cemetery in Seattle is quite beautiful on a sunny day, AND Lee and Lee's tombstones are kinda epic in a way, like perfectly chosen. So. I guess this is how people are when they love you and you die. Probably continues to bring stronger feelings from the Lee family and people like Inosanto when they visit. Wonder if they had a close friend design the stones. Glad I watched this clip. I wasn't going to. Really cool idea for one.

I see they have modified the surroundings around the grave with a brand new beautiful railed sidewalk over the years. Nicely done.
It's so interesting to read different reactions to the "new look". Most of those who comment here hate it, but we agree with you. Not only is it aesthetically pleasing but necessary. The surrounding gravesites and area were constantly being trampled due to the sheer numbers of visitors to the Lee's graves. One of the top ten most visited graves in the world! Wow, they did some upgrades at their site. Went there back in ‘08.
Most of the changes have come in the last year. Too much love for BL = the site being worn down and overrun. Some don't like the pavement and rails but probably needed to be done. Thanks for watching and commenting.
this is horrific . i hate the railings ! and the pathing makes it look like a drive way ! why couldn't they just leave it be?... its been segregated from all the other graves now cut off would Bruce and Brandon Lee have wanted that ? i doubt it very much . are they going to charge $10 a ticket now to visit ??.. its distasteful and nasty looking .
