- The Salt Lake Branch of the NAACP is speaking out after a racist incident involving the University of Utah Women’s Basketball team in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, on Thursday.
You’d think with all those cell phones they would at least have a picture or something

The only thing that is nonsense is your comment. It did happen. The entire team had to relocate to a nearby State hotel. The move costing a lot of money. Racial slur shouted out of a passing truck. The truck later returned and followed them back to their hotel. That's what caused them to move to another hotel. For the safety of the students. There were plenty of witnesses to the slurs and then the stalking. Why you choose to claim lying just demonstrates your total ignorance. Hope they find the racists who violated the students peace and send them to prison. Now financial boycotts of the state will follow.

That's how all of these stories go. At some point they tried to say someone hung a noose in a black NASCAR driver's pit garage, but it was literally just a pull cord with a loop on the end.

Police followed it up, the actual story was someone was making fun of Nex's friend's LAUGH so NEX started a fight by pouring water over the other kid's head, then lost the fight, then went home, a day passed, then Nex sadly did something to themselves.

Northern Idaho (the Idaho panhandle) used to be the skinhead capital of the U.S. not very long ago, and unfortunately this news isn’t surprising and sounds pretty on par for that area. It has gotten a lot better, but there are still some bad apples floating around.

upon hearing this story, the first thing that popped in my head was, ‘where is the audio and video of this occurrence?’
Mind you, I have had uncomfortable situations when I have been across the border in Idaho & choose not to go there, unless I am heading to the ski resort. Coeur d’Alene and some of the surrounding cities are not very comfortable for me to be in, and I’m not gonna go into what happened with me there.
However, in this day and age of everyone having a cell phone, and almost every major building having, some sort of surveillance, I would be very interested in seeing the footage that someone captured of this alleged occurrence. And if it did happen it is horrible, disgusting, unsurprising and upsetting, obviously…but I would like to see what was said, and done.🤷🏾♀️
