Ricky bad Shelton is no where near a country singer , he’s just another here today gone tomorrow , don’t embarrass country music. 2024 where are all Marty robins , John Denver, merel. Haggard, George jones, Gordon lightfoot, lefty frizzle, they could write their songs as well. Yes I didn’t miss anyone , just a small sample of what used to be. Nice to hear that the guitars and drums aren’t drowning out musicians voice and they don’t sound all the same as they do today. What a generation from 40s to late 80s for all music. Just a note I didn’t forget George straits, Vince Gil’s of today but few and far between.
Marty Robbins was a great singer, song writer and a great family man. He came from a family that was a whole lot like our family. They were of poor descent. Don’t make him of anything he wasn’t he was a GREAT MAN.
This guy does not leave his audience behind when singing. He invites them to concentrate in his music. He is charming. He connects with the group as well .
Marty Robbins was a legend in very own right as Country singer and song writer. I loved listening to him on the radio as kid. I truly miss him along with all yhe real Country great that pass on. God Bless him, may he rest in peace. God must love and enjoy Marty's singing as much as we did, and still do.
I had not seen this concert of Marty Robbins, just parts of it. He sang every song I love of his recordings. It was a very good concert, every song he sang beautifully and with great love. He loved to entertain. I love the extra clips of him. I loved him singing the beautiful song in Spanish, then English. It was his personality (sexy too), how he dressed, and his humor too. He left too soon, but the music he left. ❤From A Nashville Girl❤
Absolutely one of the greatest singer/songwiters with a voice that hardly ever could be matched. The voice of Ricky van Shelton came near in my opinion but he stopped too soon with performing!
There will never be another Marty he broke the mold, he's my number one favorite always will be, love him and still miss him 💜🥲💜💜💜
