Mikkel Crushing it again, i love that analogy with the semi. Knowing your car enough with the power it has is a life saver. The parts about social media & direct communication are so spot on, most people dont really know to fellowship and it becomes an ego match when someone just wants to have a normal conversation or at least talk about something other than cars. You just had so many great points. I’ll just add this last one. Knowing you’re not for everyone is the a huge self awareness level, once that is learned , i believe the majority of the talk we see in the car community will become for others
Yess'ir, knowing yourself and being aware is huge. I'm not into cars because of someone influencing me, fast in the furious, or need for speed like most of these guys that needed a a gateway. I do what makes me happy.
i've always been a loner and i've always upset people because i always did weird shit and acted like a weirdo. i'm still doing weird shit to my car and all of a sudden i'm getting comments that it's inspiring lol. funny how things change right? by the way let me know if you want some carbon stuff made, i got this process down now. gonna start bagging carbon soon as well.
It is very funny how it works. Example, I feel. The stuff that people were teased about for being weird is their calling that others don't understand. I will keep you in mind if I need anything, Marty. I'm over here tryna get better at my craft like you!
@@Mikkelism hell yea man, can't wait to see what you come up with. when the weather gets warm i'm starting body stuff as well. i got some really weird shit i've come up with lol.
Miiiiiiiiiike im speechless brother...as sc300 owner n sharing same name and car and passion and same sc pages..ive seen how you and myself have invested love and support. BUUT this video was the purest form of " Hey from father to son i love you " but not expecting the same love back..well my brother..let me be the one to say to you...We love you to allll the way from Texas....keep shinning
I absolutely love this video. I've felt this exact way for a long time now and I just associated it as me being over 35 and just not relating to younger owners like I used to. It's nice knowing I'm not going some form of crazy or am becoming bitter at the car community. These last couple years have been even harder across multiple levels of my life personally and socially and overall I've just backed off from posting stuff because I just felt like when I did post stuff no one on FB even sees it anyway (talking about my personal wall, not in the groups). Now a days I just try to "govern" the SC groups quietly and trying to help people when I notice no one seems to be attempting to answer their questions
Yeah, you're not alone Brian. People can understand the roles of people working a job, but not the roles people fill in the car community they are passionate about. I don't want to associate with these angry dudes mad at their car, reflecting their misery on other car guys. So much hipocrasy Bro. Dudes have literally told me, "let others do what they like and be happy". All the while they're talking mad crazy behind my back and run a page to highlight the negstive things they don't like about other people's cars. But hey, it is what it is I'll let them marinate in their own stew and keep my car to my liking and living an amazing life to my own accord.
💯facts! I've had Allot of vehicles in my time and you know Just got in the SC game a few years ago Clueless to its history or the following. You have inspired me out the gate with your design ideas. I'm an Artist by Gift and like you, have my own ideas as well. I'm no copy cat kind of guy and certainly didn't realize there's Not that much aftermarket support so in reality, you'd Have to come up with something new Or Everybody would look the same. I'm not That guy either. You're also right on another level with the sketches. Every vehicle I would change, I'd literally hand draw What I wanted, even at cat meets draw other cars. I've yet to do that with the 95 and Really should. I have most everything I need to put together. Nose going on the next warm day. But I've listened and watched and learned that I Am keeping the 95 till I die so with that said, I'm sinking all my time and money in One rather than 2. Painting instead of wrapping. I met someone in our groups, local, that is well versed with these platforms and will help me get where I want to be. I'd rather see ppl be Original and do their thing instead of acting like sheep with the same ole same. My 2 ✌
Wow, that's pretty cool to know that about you Anthony. I'm glad you found a local friend as well. That makes a big difference in owning a car you love experience!
wheres the love for these cars, wheres the passion" spot fkin on bro, so many cats these days do whatever is IT, "do it for the gram" You hardly find people off the path its kinda sad. Late 80s to Early 2000s will always be the best era of modification, custom work and overall passion in the car scene. It was all trial and error instead of all these cookie cutter builds that people do for trivial heart reacts on IG lol. Keep the videos coming my bro!
I feel you Bro, trial and error and the desire to be a beast at your craft. People wonder why it's hard to find a good painter /paint shop for example. Look how many wanted to become vinyl wrappers versus owning a paint booth etc.
Things get changed and watered down spoken as stories. The tale of Odysseus for example. How many times was the story changed from generation to generation
Made me think of this quote "People who say it cannot be done should not interrupt those who are doing it" love the content 👍
That's the quote right there. A damn good one.
