Thank you so much! Been problem solving my config for so long, the diagram was confusing and I had no idea I had to connect a netural wire to my input.

Hello Ingus, correction on the latching circuit: the stop contact should be N.C.
Otherwise, good job and thank you for sharing this valuable info👏👏👏👏👏

For safety reasons, stop push buttons must always be N.O. contact in LAD

I've got the same digital output card as you (SM322 16xDC24V/0.5A) and it's not working even though it's been hooked up like the diagram says

    Goodnight,
I have a doubt and would appreciate your help.
I have a siemens s7-300 AI18x12Bit analog card that burned.
The analog card I have to exchange for this one is the AI18x13Bit.
Changing the hardware configuration to the AI8x13Bit and downloading the hardware to the automaton s7-300, does everything work normally or do you need any more changes since the analog card is not quite the same?
    Best Regards
    Pedro

Hello Ingus... first of all i have to say that u are doing amazing job. I learnt so many things watching your videos, especially those ones about vfds. Related to this video: Input card (min 5:41) has only terminal for M (there is no "special" terminal for L+); it gets 24VDC through input devices when they are activated so to say.. So far i saw only cards that have "special terminals" for L+ and M so i thought every input card has to have its own "special" terminals for L+ and M independent of getting L+ through input devices when they are activated as is the case here... is there any cards for example that have only terminal for L+ and they are connected to M through input devices? i hope that my question is understandable to you. Thanks in advance for the reply :)

Hi George. Sometimes some cards could have +L on them, often they are for diagnostics purposes. Usually all inputs only need the negative of the power supply to go to M and all pluses coming back from switches and so on is all the card needs to activate the input. What card do you have that has +L?

@@IGSElectronics I dont have a card like that, i was just wondering if there is such a card (so the same card as yours, only it has a terminal for L+ instead of M)
