So that fancy red bar between the upper shock mounts is supposed to be the cure all for potential mount damage? Curious because I have been looking at doing something like this but have been hesitant due to horror stories.
Not sure about cure all but we do know that many Pro-Tour style autocross cars use this. We've seen a nice reduction in frame damage complaints (even though it's not necessarily our product causing the damage).
@@umiperformance sure, like your video states back in the day people running air shocks would damage them alone. But, I have also heard just running coil overs alone are not a good option and could create the same damage? So the bar would be a good aid in helping reduce that risk? This will also just be a fun cruiser for the weekends or maybe after work, maybe get on it a little here and there would be about all I would plan to do with the car.
Did UMI change this bracket within the past couple years? My 4057 looks nothing like this. Nor does it fit my Currie housing. I need to check on my GM 12 bolt and see if it fits that.
Good afternoon. Thanks for the message. Unfortunately we do not. All of the aftermarket housings are different from each other. Our 4057 kit is only for GM 10 and 12 bolt.
Great info as usual. Good job UMI.
Ramey is The Man!!
You guys let Ramey out of the office?

@@b2ja03 Global West is better engineering of the fancy bar imo.

Do you have any brackets for the Moser 9” rear ?
