I love that nod from Liam, as he's the first one to put together who the Angel of Irons is, but instead of taking the moment, he sits back and lets Matt make his reveal to everyone.

Anyone else finding this while researching possible connections between tharizdun "the elder eye" and ukatoa and the cognosa cause there is a conection here and i am deep diving this right now.
Oh shit you might be onto something there. I knew about the connection between Cognosa and Tharizdun but i never thought about Ukutoa or whatever the Elder Eye is. That might be important

I assumed it was Tharizdun but I dropped the idea because Tharisdun doesn't usually have a gender.
Tharizdun is totally inspired by The Scarlet King, or vice versa.
Tharizdun is almost as old as D&D. Gary Gygax invented it

The M9 got kinda close to tapping into the ultimate tier of high-fantasy, concept-of-hope threatening eldritch mega-baddies. I like that they sorta washed over it and made their own story. In another life, they'd be level 25 walking gods standing against Tharizdun. Not their mode.
