Dude check her "Royals" re interpretation is off the charts, plus her chinesse balad medley and also: "See you again" her good bye song so heart touching. As you can see KZ is amongst power houses as Jessy J and Hua Chenyu.

I loved this cover the first time I heard it. I love it even more now after watching your analysis of it. I have never thought of that idea, pressure, in music really. Just as a build in the tempo, resonance etc...I definitely learned something from this reaction! Thank you for that and for all your great '2 Minute Tutorials'! They really help when beginners like myself are trying to work on one thing at a time and to not be overwhelmed by all the skills to work on.
Totally unrelated ETA: Have you ever worked at a radio station or as an announcer? You have the perfect voice to do so!

It seems there is no end to your wonderful critique and explanations for not only how the voice and body movements during a performance make for a well orchestrated success. I appreciate your in depth comments and tutorials. It's kind of strange that I seem to be getting the exact teaching I feel is required for me to finish wring my song. I think I may be more apt to sing a song I composed better than singing other people's work simply because I've experienced my song and I can choose the melody. Hopefully that makes sense. Also, I've gone to school for acting and modeling and your videos (and others) help me understand more fully not only the importance of diction and enunciation, but also how to craft it to actually create the characters. By the way-i enjoy your presentation on camera. You seem quite fluid and at ease. In my experience it comes from confidence and that comes from learning. I get lazy off stage, but put me in front of a million people and I'll have everyone entertained and on fire! Truly the crowd fuels the performer to do not only good work, but excellent work. Thank you.

Most singers use autotuned to make their voice sound better, KZ used her voice to make autotuned sound better. It was a breath taking intro, but that was the previous reaction.
Loved this rendition by KZ, showed more of her talent.
For some more KZ I highly recommend her duet with Jaya of Feeling Good, just some world class singing in that by both of them.
Now if you want just a fun, light hearted song, try Doo Wop/Can't take my eyes off you. Great cover of Lauren Hill with KZ and 2 other talented singers

The Singer is a show where you can find great singers, great talents. It is a popularity show where the audience decides who is the most liked ...... I have really discovered many wonderful singers in it, from Dimash, Hua Chenyu, Zhou Shen to others like Bii, Lee Hom Wang, Terry Lin, Liu Huan, Tia Ray, Wu Tsing-fong, Chen Chusheng, Lala Shu, and a host of others. Sometimes I think we are missing out on great artists just by not looking at what exists on the other side of the world .......

Yeah she was using AT and a strong ammount , tho because of that ammount it was used as an effect, Hum, very interesting, the thing is alot of people commenting are not familiar with how AT works and he is right, i've used it on many people to get them back to the center of the note it's a slight amount but yes do that because even people with amazing talent to sing in tune are not machines and can use some help here and there or to add it as an effect . I'll listen to the track and leave my opinion:

In the competition The Singer, autotune is not allowed to be used by any contestant whether to create an effect or not. One reactor with a background in sound engineer explained that a talkbox was used at the intro of KZ's "Rolling in the Deep" to create that futuristic/robotic sound. Apparently, autotune and talkbox are two different things.

Btw first of all , that's "KZ Tan-di-ngan" hehe. Anyway
Fun facts: KZ prepared a different song for this episode and the arrangement for that song came from the Philippines. Hunan Broadcasting System (HBS) decided last minute to change the song because they felt the song is not well known in China and asked KZ to perform 'Say Something' instead since this is one of the songs she performed during the audition that really left a mark on them. We had to fly Macoy (her guitarist) last minute for this and she only got to rehearse this song on the day of the recording but still delivered an awesome performance."
    Also
KZ also received a Tweet from the original performers of the song, A Great Big World. The New York-based musical duo said, "Wow. @KZOfficial. Wow."
