      @@diostejastierras7898 that could be the case. They have to release the numbers at some point. I hope they didn’t just prioritize the horsepower and torque over mpg efficiency. That would be an easy no for me on this and the sequoia.

    There are those that just want to drive a truck, there are those that only will tow, but there are many that used to buy a truck for farms, oilfield, etc., Where having seats with a smooth material that can be wiped clean, as well as floorboard covers that neither hold moisture where they can simply be washed out. Kia and Ford are making sub-compact "trucks" with high-mileage capabilities and smaller load capacities The Ford Maverick really appeals to me. I've always been a Toyota man however. If Toyota made something along those lines, I'd be all over it. It could be based on the Camry, unibody to save weight and costs. Now that would be so cool.
    Toyota. Bring this up to the production and design team. Oh and please don't put another brand engine and parts in it...ahem, Supra/BMW. As soon as I heard that it was not all Toyota, I crossed it off my list.

    After all that great technology and engineering creating that much HP and torque and incorporating the motor drive in with the engine, upgrading suspension, frame strength, when it comes to the actual truck bed itself - is it still going to be that cheap lightweight plastic composite that requires bed lifts on the rear corners to keep it from ripping apart if you go off-roading or if you put a camper shell or carry too heavy a load and the composite breaks apart w/o the extra after market supports? And if so, then why isn't Toyota simply installing the extra supports for that weak rear bed corner before they leave the factory, so then bed integrity and long lasting bed life is guaranteed? Thanks.

  • @josecuervo4423
    @josecuervo4423 2 роки тому +1

    I would seriously consider upgrading from my 2008 Tundra but you guys just wont make a N/A V8 anymore. Just put a direct injection 5.7 in the thing with a 10speed like everyone is asking.
    I trust Toyotas reliability but have no interest in a vehicle with a turbo much less one with a hybrid system. That’s just too much going on for a truck that is used for work.

  • @xspower21
    @xspower21 2 роки тому +1

    So why did you make the turning radius worse? Visibility worse? Why is the V6 barely brating the current V8s on the market in terms of MPG? Why is the bed narrower? Why did you shrink head room to now be worst in clase, and you shrunk the interior dimensions? The rear tunnel hump is still there, WTF is so hard about giving us a flat loading area when the back seats are up. This is one of the many signs that show the design/engineer team is incompetent. How bout telling us why you uses an under powered 400w plug in the bed that will barely power a coffe maker, but the Sienna has a 1500w plug. So your premier work truck can't even compete with a soccer moms mini van. Great iob there guys 👏👏. Or how bout the seats being too short so they are absurdly uncomfortable? Or the entry handles that are built for people 5'3 or smaller, almost completely useless for an average sized guy? Why does is the wireless charger incapable of keeping the phone charged when using the navigation? The interior on these trucks have been way too dim for over a decade, well guess what, it's still dim as hell, apparently fixing lumination was beyond the engineers capability. Why the hell is the crawl control/4wd selector right where we all spill our food and drinks as it's right on top of the cup holders? You had a ton of dash real-estate to place it. But nope, God forbid you use some common sense. And what's with that shitty redneck sister banging camo print on the fenders?? Really? No options to get rid of that garbage in the TRD PRO? Oh and zero recovery hooks on your most off road capable version? And how about losing all the interior storage space in the TRD PRO, it's not like storage space is a premium when off roading/camping. Here was an opportunity to be innovative by moving the batteries some place else, maybe under the truck like Rivian, or design so slick storage options like the ram power boxes built into the bed. But nope, zero innovation or thought put into this, and you used old battery technology. Or how about the tail gate being harder for egress/ingress then the old model and is far harder to access then any other truck on the market...and dont you dare use the absurd cope out answer Mike Swears gave about not adding complexity. You literally gave us a twin turbo with a redesined cooling. This is the very definition of complexity, so you went backwards there....there are a ton of other miss fires too, it's sad after 15yrs you gave us a less functional truck that's barely current with 2020 models of the Big 3 trucks, your 22 doesn't even compete against 2021 models. You should be completely embarrassed by this Truck.

      @@tmr8193 only boomers car people son...without knowing their age. Why? Because they are old. Simple logic.

      @@tmr8193 I've done some pretty long road trips in my EV. Ohio to Minnesota and Ohio to Massachusetts. Only took 1 hour longer than a gas car. Hours of charging is just wrong information. I prefer charging anyway...time for snack, restroom break, food, or a small stretch! Really relaxing road tripping an EV!
