    Exact recipe:
    2 cups milk
1 1/2 tablespoons (2 packets) active dry yeast
    6 tablespoons brown sugar
    4 tablespoons butter, melted
    4 1/2 cups flour
    2 teaspoons fine salt
    1/3 cup baking soda
    3 cups warm water
    Coarse salt
8 tablespoons butter, melted in a shallow dish
Warm up the milk in the microwave or on the stove for just about one and a half minutes. It should be about 110º. If it's too hot it will kill the yeast. You should be able to comfortably keep your finger in it. Stir in the yeast and let it sit for about 3 minutes. Add the butter and sugar. Add the flour about 1 cup at a time and the add the fine salt. Kneed for about 10 minutes with a stand mixer, or by hand. Put it in a greased bowl and cover with greased cling wrap. Let rise for 1 hour in a moist, warm place until doubled in size. Preheat the oven to 450º. Punch down dough and divide into 12 lumps (I like to divide it in half, then divide each half into three, and then divide each remaining one in half again). Roll them all out as thin as you can. Combine the warm water and baking soda in a wide bowl. Form the dough into pretzel shapes, then dip in the baking soda water. Place on a greased baking sheet and sprinkle with coarse salt. Bake for about 7-11 minutes or until browned.

Made these 3 times now and they're fantastic. A few things I have learned: 1. Try going with 4 1/2 cups even if its a bit sticky bc you get a higher hydration dough and I REALLY liked the end result. Its a bit less dense and just melts in your mouth. Only a bit harder to work with but not much. 2. Give them a bit of time in the bath until u just start to feel the texture get a bit slick, shake em a bit and onto pan. This gives them a bit more pretzel taste since ur not boiling them. If u get the ratio right it won't taste like icky baking soda or anything. 3. Spread a thin layer of veg oil on your pan. I know its not good for you, but it gives the best taste and texture on the bottom. Olive oil didn't taste right. 4. Melt some unsalted butter on a plate, so when they come out of the oven, u just flip them onto the plate and over to another one for salt. 5. Get some Maldon salt flakes instead on using coarse sea salt. It has a different flavor profile that is a bit less harsh and bitter than the regular stuff and it look cool. 6. Try mixing half bread flour and half all purpose and compare to see what you prefer. It changes the texture a bit and is slightly "fluffier". If making beer cheese I would use it, for cinnamon sugar, I'd stick to the original.

May I suggest prepping furits and veggies and keeping them in storage containers in your fridge. Making your own "uncrustables" and freezing them, along with burritos. You can also make up ahead of time a stack of individual lunches with things like rice, chicken and veggies or whatever your kids like. Add cups or tubes of yogurt, and cubed cheese and your all set and your kids have easy nutritious meals. 💗

      2 cups milk
1 1/2 tablespoons (2 packets) active dry yeast
      6 tablespoons brown sugar
      4 tablespoons butter, melted
      4 1/2 cups flour

Faith, The substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.
There’s a missing puzzle piece in everyone’s heart. People try multiple things to fill that hole like sex, drugs, alcohol etc. But it’s only temporary and makes the hole even bigger. Making the good things in your heart spill out. But That missing puzzle piece is God. Only God can fill that emptiness in your heart. And when you accept God he gives you his Holy Spirit so that you like things that are holy, right and just. He holds you under his protection and his overwhelming never ending reckless love. He puts that puzzle piece into your heart and holds your heart now and forever.
You may have never given God a try. You may have only gone based off what you seen or heard. But he is giving you an opportunity to seek him for yourself and get to know him. I don’t know you but I love and care about you. And everything you need is in God. That things that you don’t understand about yourself or you think is dumb, he knows and will give you what you ask.
before I was broken, still searching for the truth. But then He came along, and changed my life and eternity. And I never want to go back to the broken person I was before. Because the truth and the light has set me free. Look where my chains are now, gone. I want that for you and each and every person. So I’m sharing the Good News and the best news just so that i meet you guys in heaven. There’s no love greater than this and of God.
You’ll never know how a food taste until you taste it. So I’m pleading with you, try it out, see what you become, read the Bible, talk to him in prayer, or at least research about it. All our lives we did nothing for God except ignore and disobey him. But no matter what or who we are, he still loves us. Run to the father. He’s been standing behind you protecting you all this time, but you turned away from him and faced the dark, but now he’s calling on you, his arms has been open all along, waiting to welcome you back home where you belong. He’ll hold you forever.
What’s the wait? He’s been waiting for you. God wants to know you. He’s come as close to you as he can. Open the door to him and welcome him in. See what happens.
For I hold you by your right hand. I, the Lord your God. And I say to you,
‘Don’t be afraid. I am here to help you.’
      Isaiah 41:13
And this is the gospel of Jesus Christ.
