Didn’t realize that the raptors only had 24 seconds of prime ride time, what a short but somehow complete ride
Amazing how much pain they packed into so little time
Poltergeist is such a classic badass ride...it's just visually cool as well as fun
Every now and then you’ll get a stronger launch and it just flies through the course. Other times, it feels like it’s going to valley.
Yeah the new paint really makes it pop like it used to again.
Two things are certain in life:
ElToroRyan talking about block zones
And Airtime Thrills shouting out the pythagorean theorem.
Original Rattler is an absolute legend. Changed and modified many times in it's life for safety reasons. The original iteration would leave us literally bruised, as kids, but damn we loved it. Some of my favorite childhood memories are at the top of that coaster.
Airtime Thrills, hills, chills, bills, kills, mills, and fills
Another amazing video Chris. How about "By the Numbers USA edition, each states biggest coaster ranked"?
I really want to go to this park! It looks so awesome!
This park does everything right and should be considered the flagship of Six Flags. Superman is the best floorless Ive ridden, Wonder Woman isnt painful like Railblazer for some reason even though theyre the same model, and everyone who works there has Kings Island energy which gives the park life. I went to SFOT and this for the first time in the same weekend and theyre not even close in terms of quality and line up.
Railblazer isn’t painful?
@@frozenuruguayball6436 The straps burned my collar bones pretty bad after like three or four rides
@@Acylumgaming Ah that sucks
@@frozenuruguayball6436 For airtime like that its worth a bit of rug burn believe me haha. Not sure what makes them different but I got no pain at all on wonder woman and I rode it about 5 times in a row. Ill have to see if stunt pilot is the same way at some point.
Nice video! This park has four coasters designed by Alan Schilike, plus looks to be one of the best Six Flags parks, so it’s a huge bucket list park for me. A Skyline Psgetti Bowl would be awesome for this park’s already solid lineup!
Technically 4 coasters. Iron Rattler, Wonder Women, RR Express and Batman.
Not even technically. Batman was a colab between S&S and RMC and Alan has talked about designing it.
@@josephferrara6309 oh yeah forgot about free spins.
@@coasterconquistador2517 I said technically at first because I thought they only used his design after he left S&S but he personally designed it with S&S while at RMC.
@@coasterconquistador2517 The Skyline Psgetti Bowl is already announced. And it's a dueling model.
They were also going to get a Zierer Tivoli around 2000, but it was sent to open with Parque Warner (where it's themed to Tom & Jerry and a picnic) instead
I agree with having Wonder Woman's clock start at the first drop. The turnaround before the drop feels like an extension of the lift hill as opposed to being a part of the prime ride time. I still can't get over how bad Rattler was. 97 seconds of pure torture.
As long as The Rattler was, it was so miserable that it feels like my last ride on it in 1997 just ended. I have the weird honor of riding The Rattler, Texas Giant and Big Apple Coaster consecutively. I just assumed I had gotten too old for coasters and gave up riding them until I saw a Steel Vengeance POV in 2018. My wife and I have been trying to get as many credits as we can before our backs give out 🤣
I rode it in 1992 for the first time and it was amazing
When I last went Dr. Diabolical wasn't slowing down on the mid-course brakes. It was great.
The Wonder Woman Golden Lasso Coaster is short but sweet. It's much more intense than the stats show and it's some of the most extreme 24 seconds you'll ever experience.
Just the helix on top of the quarry alone on rattler has longer prime ride time than any other coaster in park history
Loved this place when I went a couple months ago. Amazing night time experience too
I’d love to see KD’s present and defunct coasters by the numbers
Same mindset
Thats a good one for the next round
@@AirtimeThrills Looking forward to seeing it :)
This man has gotten me into riding rollercoasters. I used to be terrified of riding them, but him, being a legend, has gotten me out of my fear.
Seeing the stats of the original Rattler makes me even more sad that it was closed when I was there in 1995. Didn't get to visit the park again until 2019, when it was too late.
It's interesting how the ride experience can vary from the numbers day to day or even hour to hour. I had little slowdown on the mid-course brake run for Superman and Dr. Diabolical's Cliffhanger last time I went; although I've only ridden Cliffhanger once (no pre-show, though). Pandemonium didn't spin as much as I would've liked, though.
Poltergeist’s new paint looks so good. Mr. Freeze at SFOT looks really good too, I’m glad six flags spending the money to freshen up their coasters’ looks.
Man I love by the numbers!! So informative for coaster enthusiasts and novices alike
Fun that you upload this while I’m staying nearby.
Rattler’s original first drop before the modifications was one of the best first drops that ever existed. I never thought Rattler was really rough but it became quite boring after it was modified. After riding coasters for such a long time I have a high tolerance for what is considered “rough”. All you coaster enthusiasts that call certain coasters rough I say they just have quirky personalities lol. Also I always look for the enjoyment in any ride over the negative. I used to review coasters but I was not enjoying the rides like usual when I was searching for problems.
Used to go to Fiesta Texas all the time but moved away long before they RMC'd it and hadn't gotten a chance to go back. Was super confused how it dropped below roadrunner in the rankings.
Fiesta Texas has a great lineup of great coasters!
Rattler's helix was actual torture
My home park thanks for making this video your the best coaster youtuber
Nice new intro btw!
So I rode the rattler frequently before it was converted and I have to say during it's last rides was the roughest experience I've had on any coaster thus far. Nevertheless an intense coaster despite the roughness especially during the coil on the top of the cliff
I love coasters and have ridden them all my life but the time I rode The Rattler, I actually injured my neck somehow. Not bad enough to go to the doctor, but enough that my husband had to take our kids around and I was glad they sold alcohol because I was in pain. Never had that with any other.
So I rode eaglet back in 2008 /2009 as my first wooden rollercoaster and
To tell you the truth it was rough then o got to re ride it as iron rattler and was impressed
So obligatory disclaimer here that I haven’t ridden Poltergeist yet. However, I’ve ridden its clone, Joker’s Jinx at SFA. The launch is awesome, but by the end of the ride, it really feels glacially slow.
As boring as the continual helix on the original rattler was when I rode it, it is still kind of cool the reason behind it… to emulate a coiled up rattlesnake!
One: the number of trains operational on Iron Rattler and Wonder Woman for most of 2022.
I went here yesterday and I loved it
Love my home park to death, I still remember the joker being an absolutely horrible ride but I do wish they could have replaced it with something better. Iron Rattler is still my favorite coaster and with the recent introduction of Diabolical the park has a little bit of everything.
A by the numbers for Dollywood/Silver Dollar City or just a Herschend would be nice though with KK now in the mix would be a long video.
Nice looking coasters. Pretty short dive. Yukon Striker is so much bigger, steeper and faster.
Would love to see six flags new England by the number, keep up the great content
Yep thats in the queue for sure
It’s a fiesta down there!
Poltergeist is also the most underrated night ride in the park, especially now that they have the new theming 🙏🏻
My home park and I love it!
I’m Finally Going to this Park In February. Hope It’s Really Good!
The rattler was brutal. I rode it in its final year and it was a chiropractor
I think it's funny how Joker's Revenge was moved from FT to New Orleans and Goliath was moved from New Orleans to FT.
4:39: “Boomerang: a Vekoma Boomerang”
I love by the numbers videos, can you do one for kings dominion?
He already did
@@starryagent9936 fixed it
@@starryagent9936He did? You may be talking about King’s Islands. I don’t see any about Kings Dominion.
always nice to see my home park get some attention, been dying to try dr.diabolicals
If I had more money I'd get there before 2022 ends, but that won't happen for me. That's ok: I dislike roller coasters with short prime ride times anyway. Besides: I had my best single coaster trip earlier this year with Nickelodeon Universe New Jersey, SFNJ; Coney Island, Deno's Wonderwheel and SFGA IL. I guess I'll just have to save up for Universal Islands of Adventure and Busch Gardens Tampa for my next coaster trip, but I hope to get to SFFT eventually. Great video: thanks for posting!
4:21 you said joker was 4th in pacing but wrote it correctly as 5th in the screen.
Great content!
Yeah i noticed that on playback today. Too many numbers
@@AirtimeThrills I don't feel like its bad enough for a re-upload though
I love by the numbers videos, can you do one for Luna Park Melbourne and Luna Park Sydney?
Can you do a by the numbers for Discovery Kingdom?
Yeah i can get to that one soon
Before watching this I wonder if the manufactured but never built zirer Tivoli will be on here. Also the train on the stream liner coaster sign is a New York central Dreyfus Hudson steam locomotive
I left it off since it was never built
@@AirtimeThrills that’s fair
New video idea: Boomerangs, by the numbers
Would have been nice to note that Fiesta Texas gave New Orleans Joker's Revenge (which you did) ... only for New Orleans to ultimately give Fiesta Goliath (which you didn't).
... Hey, that might be an interesting research project and future video idea. Have there ever been any other coaster swaps between parks? If so, you could rank who won each "trade".
Interesting, i wonder how many of those there are
this wasnt really a trade, new orleans gave fiesta texas goliath after the park had closed because of katrina, in reality there was no trade so fiesta texas wasnt expecting anything back. but for me fiesta texas ended up winning because a b&m inverted is much better than a vekoma / arrow looper.
My home park that I've worked for 10 years
I love six flags fiesta Texas my favorite coaster is iron ratter and Superman the ride
When you're showing the stats, maybe you should change the indicator from 'height' to 'drop'.
A day at Six Flags Fiesta Texas by The Numbers: Ride closed, ride opened, oh sorry closed again, 2 hour wait for Wonder Woman, Iron Rattler Broken down...
I'm currious if there is a certain height limit that SFFT cannot excede when building their coasters because none of them excede 200ft, which may be due it to the high winds it gets
Can you do a Canadas Wonderland Coasters By The Numbers? I want to see which has worse pacing, Time Warp or The Fly
are you ever gonna do this with other parks outside of north america?
Yeah i could, its just hard when i dont have my own footage
I've noticed something odd about the sf parks but why are all the entrances on the northside of the park...excluding mm and dk
Schwarzkopf Loopers By The Numbers is a video I would love to see you do in the future.
Ill look at it, may be tricky due to the sheer volume
Buy or sell : cedar fair will work with vekoma in the next 10 years
I miss Jokers Revenge sooo much
My Rankings (2nd best coaster lineup in the chain imo 🤐)
1 Iron Rattler
2 Wonder Woman GLC (top tier RMC and a single rail as your 1-2 punch is great)
3 Superman Krypton Coaster
4 Goliath
5 Dr Diabolical
6 Road Runner Express
7 Poltergeist
8 Boomerang (definitely the smoothest and best boomerang I've been on)
9 Pandemonium
10 Batman The Ride
11 Kid Flash
12 Streamliner Coaster
Can you do this with world's of fun's coasters past and present?
I can probably get to that this coming year
Sounds like this is about the change with the announcement of a new ride.
Yeah I was not expecting a new coaster for 23
Every time I get reminded that the Batman clone is called Goliath and the Free Spin is called Batman, I facepalm.
Real Six Flags move there taking an already named Batman coaster and changing it for no reason just to mess with people.
Nice! Please do this for Six Flags over Texas the original Six Flags park!
This one is already out there
@@AirtimeThrills Found it! Thank you for your hard work!
Looking at the truck for joker's revenge, I'm wondering: what is the difference between arrow's track and vecoma's track?
Back in the 70s and 80s, Vekoma worked with Arrow as a contractor to build coasters in Europe. So in reality, nothing is different aside from any tweaks they may have made
@@AirtimeThrills never knew!
Buy or sell : Kings dominion will recover a new coaster in the next 3 years
Do a "by the numbers: every coaster in the US" series.
I KNEW Six Flags wasn’t the original owner of this park….I remember it struggled mightily the first few years and almost closed…But I HAD NO IDEA MY INSURANCE COMPANY was the ORIGINAL OWNER!! You gotta wonder just HOW THE HECK They got in into their heads that, “You know what would be Perfect for us?? Open a Theme Park! How different can it be from writing Auto policies for Military families!!”
Really weird, right? They saw potential even outside their lane
Nothing Beats Magic Mountain❤
Rip old intro
Buy or sell: Knott's Berry Farm will one day replace Bigfoot River Rapids with a rodeo-themed RMC Raptor
Do Tornado vs Tornado vs Tornado vs Tornado vs Tornado I'm getting dizzy
You should do the top 10 and top 10 worst rides by the numbers
I did my top 15 but my bottom 15 would be interesting
What do they have for dark rides here anything good?
Just the pirate one and i havent been in there yet, apparently its good
Wonder Woman is by far my second favorite Intamin in the USA
RMC is a pacing monster
This park is almost too stacked
Can you do a full video on the history of son of beast and if you think it will ever return
I think it might as an RMC I-Box. Between Defunctland and ElToroRyan they both did great episodes on SOB
@@AirtimeThrills Grandson of Beast
@@JakeTerch what about son of beast revenge
I think it would be cool if they replaced it with one of those inverting gci woodies, or gravity group
@@AirtimeThrills I heard it was super rough but I thought it looked fun and I box son of beast would be great
Here’s an idea:
Every manufacturer’s coaster with the most prime ride time: By The Numbers
Thatd be cool but it would require timing over 1000 coasters
@@AirtimeThrills how about just ranking every winner of each of your videos in the series? A By The Numbers Ultimate Showdown!
Six flags america by the numbers?
There’s always the people that have to say first
First
have u ever been
Yep several times
superman has 6 inversions not 7
You're right i dont know why i always just assumed this had 7
1:53 wtf is this .. this is not the correct translation for roller coaster.. the german word for it is achterbahn
rattlers pointless riders helix MWAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAHAHHA
