- I'm so excited to share a variety of Onion Skin Journal products offered by Remy Road. And host a giveaway so you can have one too!
Onion skin paper is thin and lightweight translucent paper that resembles the outer skin of an onion. It’s less translucent than vellum but translucent enough it can be used as tracing paper. And although it is very thin, it is extremely strong and handles a lot of different mediums. It is fountain pen friendly, and develops a glorious crinkle and wrinkling. It makes an extremely unique journal with an old-world feel.
The Original Onion Skin Journal is the only journal filled with the elusive onion skin paper. Included with your journal is a reversible line and dot grid insert to guide your pen. The journal contains 320 pages of blank onion skin paper with a linen cover and a ribbon page marker. They are Smyth-sewn and made in America by a 3rd generation book maker.

I would definitely use the Onion Skin Journal as a Grandmother’s Journal, memories & keepsakes for my grandchildren.! Now that I am 63, I am realizing how important it is to write down memories and the many lessons learned for generations to come.! 💕💕

I would use this as a repository for my anxious thoughts. I would write them down, and then make sense of them on these same pages. Whenever the same/similar anxious thoughts come to me again, I will go to what I have already written about them, read it, and hope the anxiety dissipates.
I think it would definitely help with mental health and anxiety!
🧅 I would use it as an art journal. I draw with a fountain pen, and wonder what a filled book would look like. The crinkle sound is very soothing, old school paper sound... I love it!! I've never heard of these journals before, thanks for sharing!

I’ve used this for Inktober in all fountain pen ink and also using watercolor (2 different years). I love the way it looks when the pages are full (or mostly full)…it gets kind of crinkly and reminds me of an old manuscript. 🤩

🧅 I I love your videos. They are always so informative.. i would use it as a long term reference binder to include birthdays car info, credit card info, warranty info, security/alarm info, insurance info, etc. everything needed housed in one place. I would keep it inside my reference binder that holds things like our birth certificates, vaccination records, nursing license etc. I would totally use the little passport for an on the go reference note book. I would keep things in it that I might need while out and about like home measurement, ink cartridges, birthdays, anniversaries, family sizes, lightbulbs sizes etc.

🧅 I would use it as a bullet journal - the pencil board comes really handy for creating different spreads, I tipically use grid for calendar view and trackers, and I would prefer lines for everything else (lists and journaling), so this is just perfection!

🧅 These notebooks are so cute, I'd never heard of this brand before now. I saw that they're capable of handling fountain pens despite how fragile the paper seems which is a real drawcard to me, as if I won I'd use it for journaling (I like to journal with a fountain pen because it makes me feel like a Harry Potter character) as well as the occasional sketch!

🧅 I have just gotten into fountain pens this past summer and it’s like a whole new world has opened up to me! I’ve recently discovered Tomoe River paper and am sad that it’s being discontinued, so I’m looking for another kind of paper that I might like just as much. I would use the notebook to test different fountain pen inks and bullet journal. I love the sheen and shading you can get with quality paper!

I’m not sure why you are experienced audio overlapping on this video. There is no audio overlap on it. But I apologize your device is causing that. If your device doesn’t correct You can alternatively put on closed caption and mute the sound.
That’s odd. I watched part of this on my phone and then finished on another device and I didn’t have any audio issues. Maybe it’s your wifi??

I also want to clarify that I’m not trying to be a knob, visually it was a nice vid and what you had to say was on it. It’s just the “interrupting yourself” cuts that got to me. Listening to a vid like this without the audio would take the fun out cuz onion skin is so fabulously cronchy.
