That glue gun is a game changer! I’m ordering one in 3,2,1.....
Cordless glue guns are best! Good choice on your purchase 👍🏼
Fantastic!
Hi! Love the tutorial... I'm missing one thing, what's inside of the resin? What gives the flame the light?
Could a person use Small lights that run with Batteries? To use for the candle ? I love how it's made tho. Awesome .
Connie,
I have made over 100 pvc and hot glue candles and I have about 20 for my floating candles. I use 2 AA sized batteries in those.
they look great, love the fake flames you make. just one quick question, did you not individually insulate each wire before the heat shrink? got to make a bunch more of these myself this year, hard wired. My first batches years ago just used the flicker t lights
Jak Skelvin My mistake, I’m new to wiring. This was my first electrical job 😆 you are correct. I should have protected each wire before the final shrink wrap. At least I found out before I did that to all 45 candles I’m making .
@@karawalkerdesigns167 just wasn't sure. yes you definitely didn't want to blow LEDs or redo the heat shrink on all 45 again :)
Kara, do you sell your flames that you made for this video? I have over 100 pvc candles and Id like to buy a bunch of the flames you made if you sell them. please pm me. Id like to convert all my candles to your style as they are some of the best I have seen. I have a haunted dragons Dungeon I set up for Halloween every year.
Thank you
PNW Dragon Master
Hi, I sell them on my website karawalkerdesigns.com
Using the wire as a bit of wick is a brilliant idea.
I get lots of stringy bits on my hot glue. I don't see you battling those at all. Is there a trick to how you apply it or what temperature you use?
I use an Arrow glue gun from Home Depot. High temp
I like to use a heat gun to melt away the strings on the hot gllue before painting. It works very well
What did you cast the flames out of. Hot glue? Resin? Looks awesome, love the wick.
Horace VanPeltersdein the flames were sculpted from Monster Clay. Then I made a silicone mold and cast them in clear resin. I’ll be selling them shortly in my Etsy shop
Do you have a link for your etsy store
@@karawalkerdesigns167 Id like that etsy link as well please
Do you have your Esty shop set up?
I was wondering the same. I’m unable to find her.
Is there a link to the candle flames you were making?
There is a link to my Etsy shop we’re I sell my resin flame tips 🔥 on my Instagram page
Are these flame tips the 5mm or 3mm ones?

Do you have an online store where I can buy these from you?
