RIP, Florence. You will be missed. Brady Bunch premiered two days before I was born so I don't remember it from its first run, but I watched it for years in reruns and my daughter loves the show.

God bless Florence Henderson aka carol Brady. I loved that show and she was an amazing actress. So loving, supportive, kind, and such a good heart. You could tell she enjoyed what she did and cared deeply about her fans and people. I'm deeply sad and my thoughts and prayers are with her and the family. Watching the Brady bunch won't be the same ever again. Especially since both parents are dead. Mike Brady (Robert reed) died first at 59, than Alice the housekeeper at 88, now the mom Florence Henderson) carol Brady at 82. RIP!!!

A woman lieutenant I knew in the army told me that when she was 7 year old, she and her parents went to a restaurant. She recognized Florence Henderson with her husband sitting at another table. This was when the Brady Bunch show was being aired. She asked her mother, if she could go to her and the mother said, "Yes, but wait until she and her husband finish eating." When they finished eating she went with her mother to their table. Florence Henderson realized right away the situation and she opened her arms up to the child and the child came to her and Henderson hugged her. The mother was totally astonished. Henderson let the father take a picture of her with the child. The parents thanked Henderson for everything she did for the child. The Lieutenant said that moment stayed with her for life. She showed me the picture.

The loss of each character's first tv spouse was never really mentioned or discussed. The closest they came to it was in the pilot episode when Carol says a few years earlier it felt like the world was ending and then when she tells the girls that Mike and the boys have been without a wife and mom for a long time

The thing was she went to have a heart procedure and there was a complication. Most likely a clot in the leg from the catheter or a broken blood vessel. Something happened and it caused her downfall. Even though she had heart issues something happened and it killed her sadly.
She was also on the first season of the muppet show

Florence will be sadly missed by many. I don't condemn anyone, for the Bible condemns all of us as guilty, dirty, rotten, hell-deserving sinners. My salvation solely rests in Christ's righteousness, because of the precious blood that He gave for our sins. I can't help but wonder where she is in eternity at this moment. I get disgusted when I hear the lost world always saying that everyone goes to Heaven ... they don't. 2nd Thessalonians 1:8 proclaims, "In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ." It is clear from the Bible that everyone doesn't go to Heaven. The Word of God states in NO uncertain terms that anyone who dies in their sins without Christ as Savior WILL go to Hell forever, "And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire" (Revelation 20:15). Jude 1:7 reads, "...suffering the vengeance of eternal fire." Hell has eternal fire. If you do not obey the Gospel, the good news of Jesus Christ's shed blood, then you WILL go to Hell to burn forever. I sure hope she is in Heaven; but I have my sincere doubts in lieu of Matthew 7:13-14 ... "Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it." There's not a day that goes by that I don't thank God for the Truth of His Word that showed me the way which leadeth unto life--that Way, Truth, and Life is Jesus Christ, "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." What a precious Savior!! It was Florence's appointed time to die, "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment."
