- In this episode we head to Wooramel Station (Wooramel River Retreat) in Western Australia for a soak in their wonderful naturally heated therapeutic artesian bore baths from the Birdrong aquifer, soooo good! The campsites at Wooramel River Retreat are truly unique nestled under majestic 100-year-old gum trees on the bank of the Wooramel River. If you are travelling between Geraldton and Carnarvon then a stopover at Wooramel River Retreat is a must!
From Wooramel Station we pack up the car, unhook the van and set off for Steep Point! Sitting within the Edel Land National Park (proposed), Steep Point makes for one of the best viewing spots along the coast to see the spectacular Zuytdorp Cliffs which tower some 170 metres above the ocean. We check out one of the most amazing for blowholes we have seen on all our travels shooting sea spray some 20 metres into the air! The Zuytdorp Cliffs stretch for more than 200 kilometres along Western Australia's coastline, from Steep Point all the way south to Kalbarri. We camp here for the night before getting ourselves ready for the barge trip out to Dirk Hartog Island! Enjoy. 😊

I was waiting for a geology lesson , Australia's so beautiful but it's fun to know how what your looking at came to be..
I know right! Im still learning, we actually met a travelling geologist a few years back, and he made me realise how little i knew! There is always time to learn more though!😀👍
Another greyt episode! WA's coastline is stunning and can't to get back one day.
Thanks, WA has so much to offer, we still have so much to see there, and we'll be back for sure!! 🍻🍻👍👍
@@VetinaVan My parents spent around 5 mths in WA when they were travelling and said they had so much more to see.
Yup, we have spent over a year there in a few stints and have still got so much stuff to do. We still haven't done The Gibb!!
Nice and quiet there for your visit. Last time we went, the place was full. Had to book ahead. Thanks for sharing.
Yup, off-season has its merits! Dirk Hartog was the same! 👍😀
@VetinaVan Weather can be a bit hit and miss though. Gotta roll the dice hey. Happy travels.
Yup, wind was pretty full on for much of our stint in the North West during summer!
@VetinaVan BTW I loved the editing with the drone footage in time with the music. Gotta learn that one for my Vids.
Yeh mate, always cut to a beat, makes a big difference! 👍🍻🍻
Great to see water in the “ upside down river “🤗we went thru there 2018 , with no water , had a cracking campfire tho 💫. Have just subscribed , look forward to following along , see what Dirk Hartog is like 🤩
Yeh, we were super lucky to see it flowing! Had been on the list for a while, but it's a long list! Just finished editing the 2nd Dirk Hartog video, we ended up with so much footage i had to break it up into two episodes. Dirk Hartog Island is amazing! 🍻👍😀
Awesome to hear how much you enjoyed It, look forward to checking both Episodes out💫👍🏻.
