She told the men this (they just don’t show us) so anyone who is still there is open to this.

The whole show is tacky & creepy. And deliberately set up to pull as much sentimentality as possible from the audience - all that crying and being in love already is just ridiculous. And treating romance as the way to go, with exciting dates, physical really soon, all the clichés... I'm in my 60s & all that doesn't lead to good partnerships or knowing anyone's character. I would have preferred a show that didn't make a joke of less attractive old people or of people's physical frailties. I'd prefer a show which treated meeting and getting to know people with some sensible, sensitive realism. Where we could learn some constructive life skills. Both shows are trashy and sentimental. The world doesn't need more schlock. We need better life skills - healthy ways to live and connect. That's my take on the two shows!

I feel like, if they’re both able to afford it and open to it, Joan and her pick could try rotating where they live. Maybe spend 6 months here, six months there, or some variation of this. Figure out what family members to prioritize for what holidays, or agree to spend those holidays apart and be ok with that. It’s not like they have to live in only one location (unless they can’t afford traveling every yr), it’s ok to be less rigid if they both are willing to try.

Ugh Joan. She was not the right pick for so many reasons. 1) First of all the show is supposed to celebrate women and men aging gracefully and embracing their wonder years and she has so much plastic surgery in her face you can't see any emotions and too much hair extensions 2) It's supposed to be about watching someone who is ready and eager for love and she isn't it at all. She has no romance with the men and she has been mourning her husband the entire season. There is nothing against that but it means you're not ready for a show like this 3) The lead of the show should have a dynamic and interesting personality that is fun to watch - Joan has made the show boring because she's a really reserved and not really into the process and has her walls up the whole time 4) She is not actually looking for her next love. She doesn't want a real 2nd love she just wants a long distance friend to maybe see every now and then or travel together and that's why she's not really invested in the show and the process
I feel like these Golden Couples won’t last because they will not want to leave their hometowns. They have huge families in their hometowns so who is going to move. Just like Gerry and Theresa. Neither one wanted to move. Grandkids have a way of making you stay put.
I saw an interview with her where she said she won't expect the guy to move to where she lives, and she doesn't plan on moving where he lives. But she would be completely OK with a long distance relationship. She doesn't really care if they get married or not, & that she just wants a companion. Joan seems to be friend-zoning all but Chock, & yet I do NOT see her in Kansas. Chock also seems almost aggressive, or maybe he’s a “pick me?” 🤷🏽♀️ Anyway, he’s awfully sure he’s the one & that hometown seemed awkward… I’d not want it to be so intense & heavy. I can maybe see her fitting in with Guy or Pascal’s lifestyles better, but not only does she seem to not be into them as much, they both have red flags. 🚩 Guy has that restraining order (& Joan’s response about it in People magazine seems as if she’s shrugging it off, which I find inappropriate); & fancy boy Pascal prefers to “be in charge” & I don’t see that being a good fit for Joan.
Chock reminds me of Devin. He wants to win more than actually liking Joan. It’s sad that once most of the guys left, the interest in the season completely drained. The guys were a lot more interesting with each other compared to their time with her
It has been Chock from day one. I am also in love with Chock. He has a very special understanding of love, honor, and respect, and I see so much positivity and light in his eyes. If Joan does not pick him, I would be absolutely shocked!

Ugh Joan. She was not the right pick for so many reasons. 1) First of all the show is supposed to celebrate women and men aging gracefully and embracing their wonder years and she has so much plastic surgery in her face you can't see any emotions and too much hair extensions 2) It's supposed to be about watching someone who is ready and eager for love and she isn't it at all. She has no romance with the men and she has been mourning her husband the entire season. There is nothing against that but it means you're not ready for a show like this 3) The lead of the show should have a dynamic and interesting personality that is fun to watch - Joan has made the show boring because she's a really reserved and not really into the process and has her walls up the whole time 4) She is not actually looking for her next love. She doesn't want a real 2nd love she just wants a long distance friend to maybe see every now and then or travel together and that's why she's not really invested in the show and the process

I feel like these Golden Couples won’t last because they will not want to leave their hometowns. They have huge families in their hometowns so who is going to move. Just like Gerry and Theresa. Neither one wanted to move. Grandkids have a way of making you stay put.

I saw an interview with her where she said she won't expect the guy to move to where she lives, and she doesn't plan on moving where he lives. But she would be completely OK with a long distance relationship. She doesn't really care if they get married or not, & that she just wants a companion. Maybe they would travel together and stuff like that.
Joan seems to be friend-zoning all but Chock, & yet I do NOT see her in Kansas. Chock also seems almost aggressive, or maybe he’s a “pick me?” 🤷🏽♀️ Anyway, he’s awfully sure he’s the one & that hometown seemed awkward… I’d not want it to be so intense & heavy.
I can maybe see her fitting in with Guy or Pascal’s lifestyles better, but not only does she seem to not be into them as much, they both have red flags. 🚩 Guy has that restraining order (& Joan’s response about it in People magazine seems as if she’s shrugging it off, which I find inappropriate); & fancy boy Pascal prefers to “be in charge” & I don’t see that being a good fit for Joan.

Chock reminds me of Devin. He wants to win more than actually liking Joan. It’s sad that once most of the guys left, the interest in the season completely drained. The guys were a lot more interesting with each other compared to their time with her

It has been Chock from day one. I am also in love with Chock. He has a very special understanding of love, honor, and respect, and I see so much positivity and light in his eyes. If Joan does not pick him, I would be absolutely shocked!
