I never realized that placing stairs is literally a god damn art form. I’m 5 hours in between gathering supplies(bc I’m playing in survival) and building the house. I’m on the roof now 15 min threw the video and it’s midnight I started at like 8😂
I used dark oak and spruce instead. I am in survival mode with a snowy type world and I also made my basement deeper because I need a large chest room.

I was barely starting the roof and I have parrots around my house so I kept hearing the noises kept trying to figure out where it was coming from then I realized I didn't add torches in the basement lmao. Had so many zombies and spiders come out.

I beat a Woodland Mansion last week and harvested a TON of dark oak, beach, and oak planks. Grabbed a bunch of chests, bookshelves, stairs and cobblestone too. I'm building my house with oak and dark oak... it's pretty. I didn't two-tone the roof.
It only took me hrs bc I was in hard mode and I had to constantly go back and forth getting a certain type of wood, which was pretty far away XD Also, it’s definitely worth building. Even if it takes u a long time CX P.s I was using a hell lot of stone tools bc I was too lazy to go into a cave
I play a server with my friends when they aren’t on I spend my time building houses and because I don’t want them to see I kick them out for sometimes days

This is one of the best building tutorials I've watched! Its easy to follow and the amounts listed were helpful! Its easy to personalize while still following the basic build too. I used dark oak instead of regular oak on the trim and added some slabs along the edges of the wall/ceiling to give more dimension
This tutorial has no negatives (nothing is perfect but i can't think of anything wrong with this tutorial). Your instructions are thorough but simple, which I love. Every other UA-camr who does tutorials doesn't specify how many blocks between two blocks or something, how long and wide the build is and I have to end up counting, and how much materials you need for the build. This is a pain you just ended. I think a lot of other people go through this too, but I may be wrong. But otherwise, thank you so much! Keep it up🎉!

Ethan Sutcliffe if you ever seen a cabin the pillars don’t line up with the windows, because the pillars and the house are its own structure that compliment eachother really well

Making this in survival right now. Seems great and the instructions are good. Just a note, if you do this in survival. Place some torches in the empty space at the start. Unless you want to find, a creeper and three skeletons in there😂
I build it in survival Step 1 : cut the whole forest Step 2 : make a cobblestone generator and mine that until your dimond Pickaxe ruined Step 3 : collect sand and make glass Step 4 : make the house in 3 days
Do love this, I extend the deck out one extra block in each direction so the deck is 2 spaces to walk through, and the basement is slightly bigger. Also for the loft spaces I bring them two more squares towards center each. I use fences instead of glass bc Glas is hard for me and I just put them on the bottom layer and leave the tope open. Heads up if you're wanting to build this blueprint. Make sure to add a couple extra of each block type, just bc you may have to break stuff and it drops and u don't wanna go back and forth 40 times when doing the roof bc you dropped something

I’m starting to regret building this in a survival world, especially after how long it took me to gather the materials. However, I do really like the house and I very much appreciate how this tutorial tells you how much of each material you need. It’s very easy to follow even being in survival it just takes a long time.
If you want to make this look more like a 'cabin' or if you are building this in a snowy place or a spruce forest i recommend replacing the oak with spruce and the spruce with dark oak, same goes for jungle, replace oak with birch and replace spruce with jungle

I was lucky I spawened next to a oak forest and spruce forest and a desert so I had everything right there

It honestly only took me like 30 minutes to collect everything. I built this semi lake game so I had efficiency 4 diamond axe but still
It took me 4 mins to get the materials because I have a every item sorter and have lots of stuff

This was the first video I have seen of your channel, and I think it’s great! It’s just what I needed to get my world going, because I want to build a small town completely from scratch. I really love how mine turned out and thank you just for posting this video!

Making this in survival right now. Seems great and the instructions are good. Just a note, if you do this in survival. Place some torches in the empty space at the start. Unless you want to find, a creeper and three skeletons in there😂

Step 1 : cut the whole forest
Step 2 : make a cobblestone generator and mine that until your dimond
Pickaxe ruined
Step 3 : collect sand and make glass
Step 4 : make the house in 3 days

Do love this, I extend the deck out one extra block in each direction so the deck is 2 spaces to walk through, and the basement is slightly bigger. Also for the loft spaces I bring them two more squares towards center each. I use fences instead of glass bc Glas is hard for me and I just put them on the bottom layer and leave the tope open. Heads up if you're wanting to build this blueprint. Make sure to add a couple extra of each block type, just bc you may have to break stuff and it drops and u don't wanna go back and forth 40 times when doing the roof bc you dropped something
I just built the whole freaking thing in hardcore survival took 2 hours

I built this in survival and it's honestly worth it I absolutely love it
I’m starting to regret building this in a survival world, especially after how long it took me to gather the materials. However, I do really like the house and I very much appreciate how this tutorial tells you how much of each material you need. It’s very easy to follow even being in survival it just takes a long time.

All together in survival took me about 7 hours including getting materials, seems complicated but very straightforward! Awesome build
If you want to make this look more like a 'cabin' or if you are building this in a snowy place or a spruce forest i recommend replacing the oak with spruce and the spruce with dark oak, same goes for jungle, replace oak with birch and replace spruce with jungle
