- Access Hollywood's Scott Evans spoke to “Stranger Things” star Joseph Quinn at The Stranger Things: The Experience in New York, where he weighed in on the rumors of his character Eddie Munson returning for the final season of the hit Netflix show, “He feels kind of gone, it feels pretty hard to bring him back, I’d say, but, I don’t know.” He also got emotional when he reflected on the first day of filming with his cast mates. The vast majority of people want him back is insane. I dare to say Eddie Munson own & won ST4. The hype I see for him is unmatchable, the fame is unrivaled. And Joseph Quinn is such an amazing being, a delight to watch.

Yeah. In his comic con in Germany I think it was. He was able to keep the rings and shirts, but nothing else for example the jackets, wigs, guitar. He said he tried to take it home but they said no

Im a highschool teacher and the Eddie Munson character completely changed the way I look at my students. There's a whole world behind the "persona" they show in the outside. Everybody feels like an outcast sometimes and it's up to us adults to help them find their place in the world without judgement. If only Eddie had that one adult. Thanks Joseph for portraying him so beautifully.
Him yelling and smacking the table with that sneaky smile and tongue...he has my ❤️ I'm 20 and this man still makes me feel like I have butterflies 🦋 I want to meet him and give him a letter that's all I need is for him to get my letter. I live in WV though so not much happens here, so hopefully one day I get it to him. He is so genuine and amazing 💕 I don't need an autograph and I don't need a full convo. I just would ask for a picture give him my letter and tell him thank you and he's amazing then walk away crying lol💕😭

In my experience with smaller films & shoots (behind the scenes with the cameras & makeup) when they won’t let the actor keep props, it’s ALWAYS a good sign, meaning there’s a chance they’ll be back next season or movie. I remember redoing makeup & wigs & being told “they asked to keep that, they can’t next movie the wig will be needed”. So 🤞 let’s hope this is a good sign here!

@@lightskintoby507 honestly the only potentially valid theory is the Kas theory. From what I hear, he was left in the upside down, and the Demobats venom, or maybe Vecna himself turned him into a vampire, or Kas to act as a sidekick or servant for when they take over the real world, like we see at the end of Season 4. But the only issue is that Kas turns on Vecna, but then Vecna kills Kas. I don’t see the point in bringing “Eddie” back just to have him be killed again by Vecna.

@@viviensilas7050 December 17 2021, Spider-Man No Way Home was coming out and there were rumors of the old actors whose played Spider-Man in the past were gonna be making a return in that movie, Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire, Andrew kept getting asked about if he was coming back but he kept saying, "no", "I don't know", "I didn't get a call", "I would love to come back but I didn't get a call or an email". And when the movie came out there they were, right in front of our screens right in front of us. He was basically trying to keep it a secret

Okay, but I love this interviewer. Both these dudes would be such a joy to chat with, only great vibes. Hope Joseph manages to keep being friends with the cast. Jamie, Joe, and Gaten clearly like him so much.

Yeah, that half smile on his face when he’s asked about coming back as a vampire, and his general demeanor from the body language courses I’ve completed, I maybe wouldn’t completely count Eddie out yet
one thing i love about joseph is that he's just so animated which i think is one reason why his acting just hits and he was the perfect choice for eddie (because eddie has the impulsiveness and over the top type personality)
seeing him bounce off of another person's energy in interviews is just so enjoyable
he improved a lot for the show and it's pretty apparent because you see those type of eddie moments in joe (even though they are different)

i’m absolutely so proud of him and all that he has accomplished because truly he is such an amazing actor and person i can’t wait to hopefully meet him one day and i know a lot of people want that but he has truly changed my outlook on life and i’ve never related to a character more on a show he played the role so well

i love how the whole cast is so sweet and supportive to new actors on the show. it just warms my heart how he said he was tearing up during the interview. the duffers really picked the best cast for this show. i can’t imagine any other characters being played by other people. everyone is so amazing.
To me, Eddie is an amazing character because Joe is amazing, as if he imparted some of his personality to Eddie. It's so beautiful to see him talking about the whole experience with both the cast and the fans of Stranger Things, with so much affection, gratitude and the kindness that only he has.
