I love riding at Sherman Branch. Best maintained trail in Charlotte. I live in Mint Hill so I ride here all of the time. Jerry is the man and this trail shows how a great trail gets maintained properly.
My first experience MTB was on this trail with my fully rigid Raleigh xxix 29 single speed. It was a blast and still is. Can’t wait to hit it again with rigid geared karate monkey
bro this trail looks awesome. I can't wait to check it out! Thanks for the run thru, I never would have thought to drive out this way just to try it out.
I first rode this trail in 2010, it was my first trail, I hated it but came back every weekend until I found out about Poplar Tent..I rode Beatties and Renni but this trail was always my go to trail. Now times have changed and so have trails. Poplar is gone but there is Rocky River. Sherman can build character and hom in on your riding ...I am a fan of all your videos and would love to ride with you one day , you sir can RAMF
I have more miles on Sherman Branch than any other trail in or around Charlotte! It’s a fantastic trail that offers everything; berms, drops, jumps, rock gardens, flow, climbs and two water crossings. I consider it my training trail! Launching off the first ladder drop on main is pretty easy and safe, but I have to roll the second because the landing is sketchy and forces you toward a tree. The black diamond on the latter half of the trail is great and easy to launch off of too-just keep your weight back, look forward on the trail and try to land both tires at the same time. All jumps have predictable landings and can by bypassed as well. Love this trail!
Hey I believe I saw you on Saturday if that's the day you went out riding me and my buddy got caught up in the rain just wanted to ask if you have any tips for sort of new riders
That’s awesome! I think the best tip I could give is to try something challenging or new every time you ride. Keeps it fun! Also to just enjoy it. Skills come with time so the biggest thing is to just ride and get comfortable on the bike! Keep shredding!
Local legend, Jerry Adams, designed, built and maintains Sherman (with help of course). Jerry is responsible for Purser existing too.

It’s a lot of fun! Even more fun on a small travel bike. Definitely one of the staples of Charlotte!

9/10 video. Had to take 1 off for not searching for the white squirrel.
Haha I’ve only ever seen it once!
I've seen it maybe twice and I was wondering what form of squirrel it was

@@CarolinaMTB Yes sir, we might try and start to jump the first bridge and see how that goes
@@ethaenfraniak2611 If you want to learn jumps, Airline, Cedar Valley, and Salisbury Community Park are some great places to session!
