I would suggest an advanced DHCP setup where you explain further some of the DHCP server settings, specially the "Conflic detection" checkbox, which has lead to some intense debates at the company I work for, because I want that setting enabled but coworker wants it disabled.
I let my mikrotik router configure by others and they just set me to a write permission. How can I gain back to a Full Admin permission without hard resetting my router?
Why are the DNS servers (as configured in the wizard) later missing from the network configuration? I’ve always assumed this was a bug with the DHCP wizard but it’s been like that for so many years I’m wondering if it’s the desired behaviour somehow. (Weirdly my last comment on this topic appears to have been deleted, it seems like a reasonable, polite question)
Hi, Just want to ask, in the video you made ether8 as DHCP server and userPC is connected to ether8 interface. my question is, the other interfaces ether2-7, how can they use ether8 as DHCP server? is it possible?

What’s your co-workers argument for disabling it? I’ve always thought this was a great feature.
I see no valid reason for disabling that.
Would be nice a video explaining how to configure ipv6 on router os.
Thank you. I hope more basics and tutorial will come.
Nice. Thank you! I was not aware of the "DHCP Setup" Button. I am looking forward to see a video about DHCPv6 with Prefix Delegation.
Keep producing videos like that !! Very good work and the videos are very informative!
Wish I had this video 3 years ago :)
Yes, it would be great to see the same for ipv6
Круто , доходчиво , подробно.❤ Прям как на обучении MTI-group.
Thank you so much.

The simple solution would be to create a bridge for the ports that should share a DHCP server. Then setup the server on the bridge.
@@mikrotik Thanks, will try
You should put "donate" or "grab a beer" button :)
This is off-topic regarding the video. But when will you release a Dark Mode UI for Winbox?
Can't give any dates at this time, but some dark mode R&D might be taking place :))
do with ipv6, please
